Identify wires, cables and harness components with readable labels or direct marks. We supply flag label applicators, print-and-wrap labelers, marker-tube printing and cutting machines, hot-stamp wire markers and UV laser marking for components. Prepared-label application and on-demand printing are different workflows: choose whether the machine must print variable data or apply an existing label roll. For marker sleeves, printing and cutting alone do not shrink the tube onto the wire; combined insertion and heating equipment is linked below.

Labeling and marking: label, stamp, laser or number tube
Identification comes in four technologies, by permanence and data. Self-laminating labels carry the most content and survive handling: the WM-9321 prints and wraps in real time at 1,000–1,800 pcs/h, the WM-9328 does it on a desk for Ø3–12 mm cable, the WM-9337 applies prepared labels, and the WM-9304F folds flag labels that stand off the wire. Hot stamping (WM-9310, Ø2–16 mm) presses characters into the jacket — permanent, fixed content per setup. UV laser (WM-9325) is permanent, programmable and contact-free at up to 7,000 mm/s. Number tube for control-cabinet wiring is printed on the WM-672 (six channels, 8,000–12,000 pcs/h) or cut and marked on the WM-665JG; shrinking the printed tube onto the wire is done in the heat shrink category. If the mark must survive abrasion and solvents, laser; if it must carry barcodes and serials, printed labels.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a label printer or only an applicator?
Choose print-and-apply when each lead needs variable data such as a wire ID or serial number. For prepared labels, choose an applicator matched to the roll, label dimensions and cable diameter.
What is the difference between flag and wrap-around labels?
A flag leaves a readable tab extending from the wire. A wrap-around label follows the cable surface. Send the label layout and cable samples so we can demonstrate placement and alignment.
Does a number-tube printer also insert and shrink the sleeve?
Printing and cutting models such as WM-665JG and WM-672 prepare the sleeve. For insertion and heating in the same process, use the Heat Shrink & Tube Insertion machines linked below.
