Hot Stamp Wire Marking Machine with Rotating Character Discs WM-9310
The WM-9310 hot-stamps identification codes directly onto wire insulation: heated brass character discs press a white or black foil ribbon against the wire, leaving a permanent legend with no ink to dry or smear. It marks wire from Φ2 to 16 mm with character sizes of 1.0–2.4 mm and 7–50 characters per print (both tooled to order), at die temperatures of 60–180 °C under 0.4–0.7 MPa air pressure. The operator lays the wire in the clamp fixture and steps on the pedal — the benchtop unit measures 355 × 280 × 360 mm, weighs 20 kg and draws only 80 W on 220 V (110 V available).

Suited for: stamping a fixed identification legend — cable type, lot code, part number — directly onto wire insulation from Φ2 to 16 mm, one pedal press at a time or inline behind a cutting line. Not suited for: per-piece variable data such as serial numbers or barcodes — disc tooling prints one legend per setup; serialized marking belongs on WM-672 laser-printed heat shrink marker sleeves (tube Φ1.5–40 mm, content loaded from Excel wire lists) or on printed flag labels from the WM-9304F flag label printing and folding machine (wire up to Ø10 mm with standard guides). Wire finer than Φ2 mm is also better served by those sleeve and label routes than by direct stamping.

How do I change what the machine prints?
The characters are engraved on rotating discs — turn the discs to compose a new legend from A–Z, 0–9, the symbols + - / · and a space. Character size (1.0–2.4 mm) and character count (7–50) are set by the die, which we tool to match your wire diameter and content length, so tell us both when you inquire.
Will the mark stay readable on the wire?
The heated die transfers foil from the ribbon into the insulation surface, so the legend is bonded rather than printed on top — it survives handling and rubbing that smears fresh inkjet code. Choose white foil for dark insulation or black foil for light colors; print quality on your specific jacket material is exactly what the free sample test proves before you buy.
Can it run inline with a wire cutting machine?
Yes — the guide rollers accept wire fed from an upstream machine, so the unit can mark continuous wire ahead of a cut and strip line as well as run standalone with the foot pedal. Send us your line layout and wire spec and we will confirm the feeding arrangement.
What if every wire needs a different serial number?
Hot stamp discs print one fixed legend per setup, so per-piece variable data is the wrong job for this machine. For serialized content from an Excel wire list, laser-printed heat shrink marker sleeves on the WM-672 are the right route, and printed flag labels on the WM-9304F handle variable text on the wire itself.
