Automatic Tube Cut-to-Length Machine for Hose, Conduit and Pipe up to Φ40 mm WM-582

HS Code 8461.50 Φ1–40 mm tube 20–40 pcs/min

The WM-582 is a floor-standing cut-to-length machine for tube and hose from Φ1 to Φ40 mm — corrugated conduit, PVC-coated flexible metal conduit, plastic and PVC pipe, silicone hose and similar profiles. A servo crawler feed pulls the tube through a roller guide, a 1 kW motor-driven rotating round blade cuts it square, and finished pieces leave on a conveyor belt, so a coil of tube becomes counted, bagged-ready lengths without an operator handling each cut. Length error is ±0.5 mm and output runs 20 to 40 pieces per minute depending on cut length. Batches are set on an English touchscreen. The machine measures 1,020 × 530 × 1,300 mm, weighs about 270 kg and runs on 220 V with 0.5–0.7 MPa shop air.

Key features

  • One machine covers a whole shelf of tube — soft silicone hose, rigid PVC pipe and PVC-coated flexible conduit all run on the same frame, with the cutting tool exchanged for the material instead of buying a second machine
  • Motor-driven rotating blade shears through the wall rather than pinching it flat, so thick-wall hose and steel-cored flexible conduit leave the machine with a square, open bore
  • Servo crawler feed grips over a long belt contact area — the tube is carried, not squeezed by two pinch wheels, which keeps printed and glossy jackets unmarked
  • Conveyor belt outfeed drops counted pieces clear of the cutting zone, so one operator can load a coil and walk away instead of catching every piece by hand
  • Free sample test — send us 2–3 m of your tube, we run it on this machine and send you the cut samples and the trial video before you order

What it processes

  • Cutting corrugated loom and PVC-coated flexible metal conduit to counted kit lengths for electrical panels and wire harness lines
  • Silicone, PVC and rubber hose cut-to-length for appliance, automotive and fluid-line assembly
  • Plastic and PVC pipe prep in cable accessory, appliance and machine-building plants
  • Contract packers supplying bagged, pre-cut tube sets to assembly customers

Suited for: mixed tube and hose cut-to-length work from Φ1 to Φ40 mm — corrugated conduit, PVC-coated flexible metal conduit, plastic and PVC pipe, silicone hose — where the shop runs several materials on one machine and wants counted pieces off a conveyor at ±0.5 mm.

Not suited for: bare copper, aluminum, stainless or armored metal tube, which needs the saw-type tooling of the WM-183 metal tube cutting machine (Φ1–30 mm). Heat shrink tube and soft sleeving cut faster and tighter on the WM-565N heat shrink tube cutting machine (up to Φ38 mm at ±0.1 mm, 60–210 pcs/min). High-volume corrugated loom in the 4–32 mm range belongs on the WM-177FY high-speed corrugated tube cutting machine with its enclosed pay-off. If the job is a continuous helical cut down a plastic pipe rather than cross cuts, that is the WM-571 spiral cutting machine; and braided sleeve or webbing that must leave the blade with heat-sealed, fray-free ends goes to the WM-576 computerized hot knife cut-to-length machine.

Cutting tools are exchangeable on this frame, so tell us the tube material, wall thickness and outer diameter in your inquiry — we quote the machine with the blade and guide set matched to your part, not a generic configuration.

WM-582 — common questions

What tube materials will the WM-582 cut?

Corrugated conduit, plastic and PVC pipe, silicone hose and comparable profiles from Φ1 to Φ40 mm, including PVC-coated flexible metal conduit of the kind shown in the sample photos. The cutting tool is exchangeable, so the blade is matched to your material — send a sample and we confirm the tooling before quoting.

Does the rotating blade flatten thin-wall or soft hose at the cut?

The tube is supported by a roller guide right at the cutting zone and carried by opposed crawler belts rather than pinch wheels, and the blade is driven by its own 1 kW motor so it shears through instead of pushing the wall ahead of it. Cut ends come off square and open enough to slide over a fitting.

Does it also split tube lengthwise, or mark it?

No — the WM-582 only cuts to length. For corrugated loom that has to arrive already opened along its length, use the WM-176 corrugated tube cutting and splitting machine, which cuts and slits 4–32 mm conduit in the same pass.

What does it need on site?

A 220 V, 50–60 Hz supply drawing 2,000 W, and compressed air at 0.5–0.7 MPa. The machine is floor-standing on casters at 1,020 × 530 × 1,300 mm and weighs about 270 kg, so it rolls into a line without a foundation.
