The WM-591 cuts rigid plastic pipe — PVC, PP, PE and similar hard tube — to programmed length with a knife head that rotates around the pipe instead of pressing down through it, so the wall is sheared rather than crushed and the cut face stays round. It takes pipe from 1 to 50 mm with a Φ52 mm pass-through bore, holds a cutting tolerance within 0.05 mm at 100 mm, and runs cut lengths of 1 to 500 mm at about 1,000 pieces per hour. A servo drive and ball screw position every length, batches are set on a 7-inch touchscreen, and the whole cutting chamber sits under a hinged guard. Not suited for: pieces longer than 500 mm or continuous coil stock — that is the WM-582 tube cut-to-length machine, a floor machine with crawler feed and conveyor outfeed for Φ1–40 mm. High-volume thin-wall corrugated conduit belongs on the WM-587 high-speed cutting and slitting machine (Φ4–32 mm, up to 100,000 pcs/h), and corrugated conduit above 32 mm on the WM-583 corrugated tube cutting and splitting machine (Φ5–60 mm). What pipe can the WM-591 cut?

Rigid plastic pipe — the factory data lists PVC, PP and PE hard pipe — from 1 to 50 mm, with a Φ52 mm bore through the cutter spindle so the stock can pass right through. The published data does not state a wall-thickness limit, so for thick-wall or filled compounds send us 2–3 m and we will run it before you order.

What does "high precision" mean in numbers on this machine?

The published cutting tolerance is within 0.05 mm at a 100 mm cut length. Two things produce it — a servo-driven ball screw sets the length by screw pitch instead of by belt travel, and the knife rotates around the pipe so nothing pushes the stock out of position during the cut. No other plastic-pipe machine in this category on our site publishes a tighter figure; if you are cutting brass tube or aluminium rod rather than plastic, the WM-562CNC is specified at ±0.03 mm.

Why is the cut length capped at 500 mm?

The gripper that pulls each length rides a rail inside the benchtop enclosure, so the pull stroke sets the ceiling. If you need pieces longer than 500 mm, or you are feeding from a coil rather than from cut sticks, the WM-582 is the right machine — it is a floor-standing crawler-feed cut-to-length machine for Φ1–40 mm with conveyor outfeed.

1,000 pieces per hour sounds low — is that right?

It is, and it is the honest trade-off. This is a precision machine for rigid pipe, not a high-speed cutter for thin-wall corrugated conduit. If throughput is what you are buying, the WM-587 runs corrugated and thin-wall pipe of Φ4–32 mm at up to 100,000 pieces per hour, and the WM-583 handles corrugated conduit up to Φ60 mm at 10–60 pieces per minute.

What are the shipping dimensions?

The factory publishes a net weight of 85 kg but does not publish overall dimensions for this model, so we do not quote a figure we have not verified. We confirm the exact crate size and gross weight with the plant before your freight quote is issued.
