The WM-593 cuts pipe and tube by rolling a cutter wheel around the pipe instead of sawing through it, so the cut produces no chips and no swarf and needs no deburring afterwards. It handles pipe from 10 to 100 mm diameter with wall thickness from 0.5 to 6 mm, at cut lengths from 3 to 1,000 mm or longer, on a 70 kg bench-cabinet machine with infinitely variable automatic speed.

What it processes

• Rigid plastic pipe and tube cut into rings, sleeves, spacers and bushings
• Large-diameter thin-wall pipe up to 100 mm where the cut has to stay round and undistorted
• Small-diameter thick-wall tube (up to 6 mm wall) cut into short repeatable lengths
• Any pipe job where chips or swarf inside the bore are unacceptable and a saw cut would have to be washed out and deburred

Suited for: pipe and tube from 10 to 100 mm diameter with a 0.5–6 mm wall, cut to lengths between 3 and 1,000 mm, where the cut face has to come off the machine clean — no chips inside the bore, no burr to remove, no kerf loss.

Not suited for: walls thicker than 6 mm or pipe outside the 10–100 mm band, and jobs where raw cutting speed beats cut cleanliness. For metal tube — armored conduit, copper, aluminium and stainless from Φ1 to Φ30 mm — the saw-type WM-183 metal tube cutting machine runs 20–100 pieces per minute with a circular blade, accepting the chips that come with sawing. For brass tube and aluminium rod up to Ø48 mm at ±0.03 mm the WM-562CNC brass tube and rod cutting machine is the tighter-tolerance choice. Rigid PVC, PP and PE pipe from 1 to 50 mm in short lengths runs faster on the WM-591 high-precision rotary knife pipe cutting machine at 1,000 pieces per hour, and corrugated conduit belongs on the WM-587 high-speed cutting and slitting machine (Φ4–32 mm) or the WM-583 corrugated tube cutting and splitting machine (Φ5–60 mm).
