Corrugated Tube Cutting and Splitting Machine with Powered Tube Feeder, Φ5–60 mm WM-583
The WM-583 is a two-unit set: a floor-standing cutting and splitting head that cuts convoluted conduit to length and slits it lengthwise in the same pass, plus a powered tube feeder that pays the coil off an 800 mm tray and pushes it into the head so the line runs unattended. The head covers Φ5 to 60 mm — large-bore loom that benchtop splitters cannot take — holding ±0.5% of cut length at 10 to 60 pieces per minute, with a pneumatic cylinder cut-off under PLC control. The 96 kg head runs on 500 W and the 180 kg feeder on 900 W, both 220 V, 50–60 Hz.

Suited for: corrugated wire-loom conduit from 5 to 60 mm diameter run off bulk coils, cut to length with or without a lengthwise split, on a line that should keep feeding itself. Not suited for: small-bore loom under about 32 mm, where this set is oversized — the WM-176 corrugated tube cutting and splitting machine cuts and splits Φ4–32 mm conduit on a 70 kg benchtop frame. If you need length only and no split, across hose, conduit and pipe up to Φ40 mm, use the WM-582 automatic tube cut-to-length machine.
Conduit wall thickness and rib pitch vary a lot at the large end of the range. Send us 2–3 meters of your actual tube at your largest size and we run it on this machine on video before you commit.

WM-583 — common questions
Is the tube feeder a separate machine or part of the cutter?
It is a separate floor-standing unit that ships as part of this set. The 180 kg feeder holds the coil on an 800 mm tray and drives it forward under its own PLC touchscreen control; the 96 kg cutting head sits on a rolling stand in front of it and does the cutting and splitting. They are ordered, shipped and installed as a pair, and each has its own 220 V supply.
Why does a large-bore machine need a powered feeder at all?
Heavy 40–60 mm loom comes on big, stiff coils. If the cutting head has to drag that coil itself, the tube stretches between pulls and every piece comes out a little long. The feeder breaks that link — a wire-pull potentiometer meters the pay-off reel and an induction frame watches the slack loop and drives the stepper traction motor, so the head only ever pulls slack tube.
Can I run it without splitting, just cutting to length?
Yes. Splitting is switched on the controller — the setup page has a cut-on toggle — so the same coil can be run as closed pieces for tube that gets threaded during assembly, and as split pieces for dressing an already-built bundle.
What cut lengths can it hold?
The manufacturer publishes the accuracy — ±0.5% of the cut-off length — and the throughput of 10–60 pieces per minute, but not a minimum and maximum length. We do not want to quote a number we cannot stand behind, so tell us your shortest and longest piece and we confirm it against the actual machine before you order.
My conduit is only 10–25 mm. Is this the right machine?
Probably not — it is oversized for that work and the feeder is built for heavy coils. The WM-176 corrugated tube cutting and splitting machine does the same cut-and-split job on Φ4–32 mm conduit from a 70 kg benchtop frame, at a fraction of the footprint.
