Automatic Tape and Webbing Cutting Machine with Stacker, 1–98 mm Wide WM-579
The WM-579 cuts webbing, tape, ribbon and flat sheet stock from 1 to 98 mm wide to programmed lengths of 1 to 9,999 mm, and stacks the finished pieces itself instead of dropping them loose on the bench. The pneumatic blade runs hot — adjustable up to 500 °C — to fuse synthetic edges, or cold where a melted edge is a defect, at 80 to 110 cuts per minute. Length, quantity and running count are set on an English touch screen. The bench unit measures 500 × 400 × 520 mm, weighs 28 kg and draws 0.58 kW on 220 V.

- Automatic stacking is the point of this machine — each cut piece is caught and laid onto the growing stack under the blade instead of scattering across the bench, so an operator lifts one aligned bundle per batch rather than gathering loose pieces by hand
- One blade, two modes — a rotary temperature dial sets blade heat for hot cutting up to 500 °C so nylon, polyester and PET webbing leave with fused, fray-free ends, and a panel switch drops the same blade to cold cutting for film, sheet and label stock that must not melt or discolor

Suited for: narrow flat stock up to 98 mm — webbing, hook-and-loop, elastic band, ribbon, woven labels, film and insulating sheet — on jobs where the pieces have to come off the machine counted and stacked rather than loose, and where the same shift runs some materials hot and some cold.
Not suited for: anything wider than 98 mm, round material, or shaped cuts. What does the stacking function actually do for me?
Without it, every cut piece drops loose and someone has to collect, square up and count them before the next station can use them. On the WM-579 the pieces are laid onto a stack under the cutting head as they are produced, so a batch comes off the machine already aligned. On short pieces at 80 to 110 cuts per minute that is the difference between one operator running the machine and one operator running after it.
When do I run the blade hot and when cold?
Run it hot for synthetics that fray — nylon and polyester webbing, PET ribbon, hook-and-loop and woven labels all come off with a fused, sealed edge. Run it cold for sheet, film, insulating strip and any material where a melted or discolored edge is scrap. Switching is a panel switch plus the temperature dial, not a tooling change, so the same machine covers both jobs in one shift.
How wide and how long can the WM-579 cut?
Material from 1 to 98 mm wide, at programmed lengths from 1 to 9,999 mm. Width is the hard limit — anything over 98 mm needs a wider-format machine, and the referrals below the specifications point to the right one.
What is the WM-579 not built for?
It makes straight cross-cuts on flat stock, so round rope and cord, corrugated conduit, rigid pipe and any wire or cable are outside its range. Angled and shaped cuts need a different cutting head, and material wider than 98 mm needs a wider machine — see the referrals below.
