Automatic Hot Rope Cutting Machine with Heat-Sealed Ends, up to Φ20 mm WM-561
The WM-561 cuts nylon rope, cord and webbing with a heated blade that reaches 460 °C, fusing both cut faces at the moment of the cut so braided synthetic ends come off sealed — no fraying and no separate tipping step. It accepts rope up to Φ20 mm including double-layer sheath-and-core constructions, cuts programmed lengths from 0.1 to 99,999.9 mm at ±0.1 mm accuracy, and delivers 60–210 pieces per minute depending on length. Belt feeding moves the rope without crushing the braid. The bench unit measures 650 × 480 × 420 mm, weighs 66 kg net and runs on AC220 V at 560 W.

Key features
- The hot blade seals as it cuts — braided nylon and polyester ends leave the machine fused, with no fraying and no second tipping operation
- Takes double-layer sheath-and-core rope up to Φ20 mm — the construction used in climbing, marine and safety lines
- 60–210 pieces per minute with ±0.1 mm repeatability turns rope cutting from a scissors job into a production process
- Blade temperature is settable up to 460 °C to match the material, from polypropylene webbing to dense nylon braid
What it processes
- Nylon and polyester rope cut-to-length with sealed ends for safety, marine and outdoor products
- Webbing, cord and drawstring cutting for bags, apparel and sporting goods
- Paracord, elastic cord and braided-sleeve production runs
Suited for: synthetic rope, cord and webbing up to Φ20 mm — nylon, polyester, polypropylene, including double-layer sheath-and-core rope — wherever cut ends must ship sealed and fray-free. Not suited for: wire and cable work — for conductor cutting, pick from the wire cutting and stripping machines — nor steel wire rope or natural fibers that cannot heat-seal; for those, custom sourcing is the route: tell us your spec — sourcing unusual machines is what we do.
Rope constructions vary more than specifications suggest, so we prove the cut on your material: send 2–3 meters of your actual rope or webbing and we cut it on this machine on video — sealed ends on camera — before you commit.

WM-561 — common questions
Do the cut ends really not fray?
The blade runs at up to 460 °C, so synthetic fibers melt and fuse across the full cross-section at the moment of the cut — both the cut piece and the remaining rope end come away sealed. Natural fibers such as cotton do not fuse; the machine is intended for synthetics like nylon, polyester and polypropylene.
How fast is it in practice?
60 to 210 pieces per minute depending on cut length — short pieces run near the top of the range, long pieces are limited by feed time. Length is programmed from 0.1 to 99,999.9 mm with ±0.1 mm accuracy, so a batch changeover is a parameter change, not a mechanical adjustment.
What is the WM-561 not meant to cut?
Wire and cable — a hot blade is the wrong tool for copper conductors, and insulation stripping is a different process; see the wire cutting and stripping machines category for those. Steel wire rope and natural-fiber rope that cannot heat-seal are also outside its range.
