Cold and Hot Blade Tape Cutting Machine for Webbing and Ribbon up to 120 mm WM-569
The WM-569 cuts fabric tape, nylon webbing, elastic band and ribbon up to 120 mm wide with a choice of cold or hot blade in the same head. Hot cutting at up to 350 °C fuses synthetic edges so pieces leave the machine with sealed, fray-free ends; cold cutting keeps natural fiber clean. The stepper-driven feed programs lengths from 1 to 9,999 mm and delivers 100–120 pieces per minute on 50 mm cuts. The 26 kg benchtop unit measures 450 × 350 × 350 mm and runs on 110/220 V, drawing 0.5 kW.

Key features
- Cold and hot cutting in one head — run the blade at up to 350 °C to seal nylon and polyester edges as they are cut, or cut cold where a melted edge is a defect
- Stepper-motor feed monitors every cycle, holding the programmed length from 1 to 9,999 mm piece after piece across the whole roll
- 100 to 120 pieces per minute on 50 mm cuts turns strap and label blanking into a one-operator bench job
- Spring-comb outfeed guard stops the machine the instant it is pressed down, so fingers never meet a 350 °C blade
What it processes
- Seat belt, backpack strap and luggage webbing cut to length with fused, fray-free ends
- Elastic band, threaded belt and ribbon blanks for garment and footwear assembly
- Hook-and-loop strap and woven tape kitting for cable management and harness shops
Suited for: flat textile tape up to 120 mm wide cut straight and square — seat belt and backpack webbing, nylon and polyester strap, elastic band, ribbon and woven label stock, hot-sealed or cold-cut as the material demands. Not suited for: angled or shaped cuts and round materials — for angle and shape work, pick the WM-566 webbing shape cutting machine with its 45–135° blade; round stock runs on the other machines in the tube and pipe cutting category — nor any wire or cable work.
Every weave seals a little differently under a hot blade, so we prove it first: send 2–3 meters of your actual tape or webbing and we cut it on this machine on video — sealed ends on camera — before you commit.

WM-569 — common questions
When should I cut hot and when cold?
Hot cutting suits synthetics that melt — nylon, polyester and polypropylene webbing come off with fused, sealed ends and never fray in downstream handling. Cold cutting is for cotton and blends, or jobs where any melted edge counts as a defect. Switching between the two is a setting, not a tooling change.
How does it hold length across a full roll?
A stepper motor meters the feed and is monitored on every cycle, so the programmed length between 1 and 9,999 mm repeats from the first piece to the last. The 100–120 pcs/min rate is quoted at 50 mm length — longer pieces run proportionally slower.
What is the WM-569 not built to cut?
It makes straight, square cuts only — angled and shaped webbing cuts, plus round materials like corrugated conduit and heat shrink sleeve, belong on the dedicated machines in the tube and pipe cutting category. Wire and cable are outside its range entirely.
