The WM-3241 strips a pre-cut BVR or RV lead and presses a loose pre-insulated SV fork or RV round easy-insertion terminal onto it, covering 0.5, 0.75, 1.0, 1.5, 2.5, 4.0 and 6.0 mm². Terminals feed from a vibrating bowl. Stripping is rotary, parallel or rotary with twist, 6–30 mm, forward or reverse; insertion into the plastic housing is motor- adjustable; the crimp is M-type with independently set height. Automatic cycle is about 2.8 seconds per terminal, about 4 seconds under manual, on AC 220 V / 50 Hz single-phase 10 A at 1,500 W, 0.5–0.6 MPa air, 360 × 520 × 425 mm, about 62 kg.

Key features

  • Loose SV fork and RV round pre-insulated terminals feed from a vibrating bowl — poured from the bag, no reel and no applicator strip
  • Wire-feeding induction starts the automatic cycle; a foot-pedal start switch can be added, and a manual mode is published for setup and short runs
  • Rotary stripping, parallel stripping and rotary twisting, each forward or reverse, with strip length 6–30 mm — the operator is not locked into one strip geometry
  • Motor-set insertion depth into the terminal's plastic housing, so barrel entry is a stored parameter rather than a mechanical stop
  • M-type crimp formed by upper and lower blades, crimp height freely adjustable; changeover is jig swap, bowl adjustment and a stored-parameter recall
  • Terminal-presence detection plus operation-status alarms stop the cycle instead of pressing a bare lead
  • About 2.8 seconds per terminal in automatic, about 4 seconds under manual, on a 360 × 520 mm bench footprint at about 62 kg
  • Free sample test — send 2–3 meters of your BVR or RV wire and a bag of your SV or RV terminals; we run them on this machine and send the video and the crimped samples before you order

What it processes

  • Control panels, switchgear and distribution boxes that land insulated fork or ring lugs on screw terminal blocks
  • Appliance, motor and transformer lead sets in 0.5 to 6.0 mm² BVR or RV flexible wire
  • Job shops that buy SV fork and RV round terminals loose in bags and currently crimp them with hand tools or a foot press

Suited for: pre-cut BVR and RV leads in the listed sizes 0.5 to 6.0 mm² that need a loose pre-insulated SV fork or RV round terminal — the insulated spade and eyelet lugs that go onto screw terminal blocks, bolted studs and busbars. The wire is stripped 6–30 mm and the terminal is pressed in the same cycle; terminals go in loose, the way they arrive from the bag.

Not suited for: 0.3 mm² wire — that size is not on this sheet; use the WM-3220 ring and fork terminal crimping machine (0.3–6 mm², 600 pcs/h, four-sided/double-sided crimp). Bootlace and tube ferrules are a different tool: the WM-397 E-tube terminal crimping machine does strip, twist and crimp in 2.5 seconds across 0.3–4 mm² and 2.5–6 mm², and the WM-3116 servo bootlace ferrule crimping machine runs 0.3–16 mm². Terminals that come on a reel belong on an applicator press — the WM-3102T 2-ton low-noise terminal crimping machine takes OTP and 2000# applicators. Conductors heavier than 6 mm² and bare copper cable lugs need tonnage this machine does not have; the WM-3135T 35-ton servo cable lug crimping machine presses terminals up to 120 mm².

If the volume outgrows an operator. Automatic is about 2.8 seconds per terminal on a 62 kg bench machine. The WM-3212 fully automatic double-end pre-insulated terminal crimping machine feeds loose pre-insulated terminals from a bowl but pulls the wire off a reel, cuts it, strips both ends, twists the strands and crimps both ends unattended — AWG 24 to AWG 10, about 900 leads an hour, 550 kg.

Tell us the terminal part number, the wire size and the lead length you run, and we will confirm the bowl tooling and crimp dies for your parts before quoting.

WM-3241 — common questions

How is the WM-3241 different from the WM-3220?

Different published platform, not a size variant. The WM-3220 covers 0.3–6 mm² at 600 pcs/h, four-sided or double-sided crimp, shortest outer-skin strip 65 mm, 400 W, 540 × 570 × 520 mm, 70 kg. This machine starts at 0.5 mm² (the listed sizes are 0.5, 0.75, 1.0, 1.5, 2.5, 4.0 and 6.0 mm² — it does not publish 0.3 mm²), strips 6–30 mm by rotary, parallel or twist, forms an M-type crimp, cycles in about 2.8 s automatic / 4 s manual, draws 1,500 W, and sits on 360 × 520 × 425 mm at about 62 kg. Quote the machine whose gallery and sheet match the terminal and strip method you actually run.

Does it crimp 0.3 mm² wire?

No. The published wire list is 0.5, 0.75, 1.0, 1.5, 2.5, 4.0 and 6.0 mm² BVR and RV. If 0.3 mm² is on your bill of materials, that size lives on the WM-3220, which publishes 0.3–6 mm².

Which terminals will the bowl feed?

The sheet names 0.5–6 mm² SV fork-type terminals and RV round easy-insertion terminals. Other terminals can be customized with material confirmation required — send the part numbers and a bag of the parts you buy, plus 2–3 m of your wire, and we confirm feed and crimp on video before you order.

Does it take bootlace ferrules?

No. SV fork and RV round are insulated spade and eyelet lugs. Tube ferrules are a different tool: the WM-397 strip-twists-crimps 0.3–6 mm² in 2.5 seconds, and the WM-3116 covers 0.3–16 mm² at about 4 seconds per piece.

Is 2.8 seconds per terminal realistic?

That is the specified automatic rating, with about 4 seconds under manual. It is an operator-paced machine triggered by wire-feeding induction — the figure holds only while somebody keeps presenting leads. If the wire can come off a reel and both ends must be finished unattended, the WM-3212 pulls, cuts, strips, twists and crimps both ends at about 900 leads an hour, 550 kg.

What control interface will the machine have?

The human-machine interface recalls stored parameters. We set the voltage for your country and ship the English interface and manual; we demonstrate the control layout during your sample run.
