Key features
- Reduce repeated hand-tool squeezing: the servo-driven press performs the crimp while the operator positions the prepared wire in the applicator.
- Set the job at the screen: the English interface displays the job number, production count and terminal-thickness settings for the operator to check before starting a batch.
- Match tooling to the connection: we review the terminal strip, conductor and insulation together, then demonstrate your samples so the die is selected for the actual crimp geometry.
- Keep reel-fed terminal work at one bench station: the pictured reel support and applicator organize the terminal path beside the operator's work area.
- Plan tooling clearance before ordering: the standard stroke is 30 mm, with a customized 40 mm option confirmed against the applicator and loading requirements.
What it processes
- Wire harness assembly using compatible strip-fed terminals and prepared wires.
- Appliance and equipment wiring benches with repeated crimping jobs.
- Small-batch cable assembly where tooling changes and first-piece inspection matter alongside production rate.
A servo bench press for repeated terminal work
Our WM-3102S puts a 20 kN servo crimping operation at a manually loaded workstation. It is intended for prepared wires and a matched terminal applicator. The pictured reel support routes the terminal strip into the tooling; the operator still has to position the wire correctly and inspect the connection.
If hand crimping is taking too much of the shift, compare the complete workflow. Send your typical batch size, annual quantity and the number of terminal types. We quote the press and the tooling for those jobs so you can judge the investment against the time spent processing them today.
A matching wire size is only the start
An applicator must support the terminal’s conductor and insulation crimp geometry. Send the terminal part number, a strip sample and the production wire, including the insulation diameter and required stripping length. We demonstrate your materials on video before you order, showing the process and finished connection.
Tell us how the terminal is used after crimping, including any housing or mating requirements. Agree the crimp dimensions and pull-test requirements with the sample trial. The press’s rated force does not establish whether the finished assembly passes your acceptance criteria.
Check the first piece after changing jobs
The English touchscreen shows a job number, count and terminal-thickness fields. During the trial, check how the operator sets the job and verifies the first acceptable part. For several terminal families, include the applicators and setup work needed for each one in the quote.
The 30 mm stroke can be customized to 40 mm. We check that requirement with the tooling; a longer stroke alone does not establish that every existing applicator or terminal will fit.
Compare the control and tooling arrangement
For a button-and-counter press, see our WM-3102T low-noise terminal crimping machine. If the terminal job requires a higher-force servo configuration, compare the WM-3110T 100 kN press. We review the terminal and tooling requirements before recommending a force class.
The specified 280 × 240 × 600 mm dimensions describe the machine body. Allow additional space for the reel support, terminal stock and handling the wire. We set the voltage for your country and ship the English interface and manual. For wear parts, every quote lists them with unit price and the location they ship from.

WM-3102S — common questions
Does WM-3102S automatically cut and strip wire?
No. The operator presents a prepared wire for crimping. For integrated cutting, stripping and termination, see our terminal crimping machines and send the process sequence you need.
Which terminal types and wire sizes can it run?
The answer depends on the applicator, terminal geometry, strip pitch, conductor and insulation. Send the terminal part number or drawing and your wire samples. We confirm the matched tooling and workable range on the quote.
How does it differ from WM-3102T?
WM-3102S uses a servo drive and an English touchscreen, with listed weight of 38 kg and machine dimensions of 280 × 240 × 600 mm. WM-3102T is our low-noise press with a button-and-counter control panel. Compare the job setup and matched applicator, rather than assuming the same tonnage makes the machines identical.
Does the touchscreen confirm a good crimp?
Screen settings support setup; they do not replace inspection of the finished connection. Give us your required crimp dimensions and pull-test criteria. We agree the sample checks before the order. Force monitoring, error detection and data logging are confirmed on the quote if your application requires them.
What production rate should we use for budgeting?
Evaluate the actual cycle with your wire: loading, crimping, removal and inspection. Include typical batch sizes and terminal changeovers. We demonstrate your job so you can compare useful output and tooling cost with the present process.
How do you prepare the machine for installation and maintenance?
We set the voltage for your country and ship the English interface and manual. For wear parts, every quote lists them with unit price and the location they ship from. The quote confirms the electrical configuration, applicator and any customized stroke.
