CE Certified HS Code 8463.90 200 kN · 40 mm stroke

Get a quote for WM-3120T →

Our WM-3120T is a semi-automatic servo cable lug crimping machine with 200 kN force, a 40 mm stroke and a 5.5 kW motor. It provides a higher-force option for terminal jobs that exceed the requirements of our 100 kN press, with tooling and loading clearance checked against your samples. The operator presents the prepared cable; touchscreen controls set the crimping job.

Key features

  • Provide more force and ram travel for the matched job: 200 kN and a 40 mm stroke give a different tooling envelope from our 100 kN, 30 mm press.
  • Reduce repeated manual squeezing: the servo drive performs the press movement while the operator positions the prepared cable in the matched tool.
  • Give the operator a defined setup: the English touchscreen displays the job number, production count and terminal-thickness settings for checking before the batch.
  • Catch crimping mistakes earlier: the specified error alarms cover overlapping terminals, un-stripped cable, cut core wire and missing terminals. We demonstrate detection with your materials during the agreed trial.
  • Match the connection before committing to tooling: send terminal and cable samples, and we show the crimping process and finished sample on video before you order.

What it processes

  • Prepared cable ends and terminals requiring a matched servo crimping operation.
  • New-energy wiring harness assemblies with defined crimp acceptance requirements.
  • Cable assembly workshops replacing repeated hand-tool work with a dedicated press station.

Choose 200 kN for the required closure force and tooling

Our WM-3120T servo cable lug crimping machine pairs 200 kN force with a 40 mm stroke. The longer stroke is a selection detail to check with the die and terminal: it is not a guarantee that every tall terminal or bent lug will fit. Send a drawing showing the cable approach and loading direction so we can check access before you commit to the workstation.

The pictured tooling and finished cable lug show the type of operation. Your conductor construction, lug wall thickness and specified crimp profile determine the tooling for your own connection. We demonstrate your samples and agree the inspection requirements before you order.

Plan the workstation as well as the press

This configuration weighs 380 kg and measures 400 × 540 × 1,060 mm. Include the press support, handling space for the cable and access for die changes in the installation plan. The motor rating is 5.5 kW; supply voltage and frequency are confirmed on the quote.

For long or heavy cables, show us how the operator currently supports and presents the workpiece. Evaluate the complete handling cycle during the trial. A higher-force motor does not by itself reduce loading time or prove a higher production rate.

Demonstrate the error alarms with your acceptance samples

Overlapping terminals, un-stripped cable, cut core wire and missing terminals are the specified alarm conditions. Agree how those conditions will be demonstrated on your actual job. We also agree the finished-crimp checks you require, including dimensional inspection and pull testing where specified. This connects the machine trial to your acceptance criteria instead of treating an alarm list as a quality certificate.

Compare the adjacent force option

See our WM-3110T 10-ton servo terminal press for the 100 kN, 30 mm stroke option. For the 300 kN configuration, see WM-3130T. We select the press and die against the sample requirements rather than assuming more tonnage means a better connection.

We set the voltage for your country and ship the English interface and manual. For wear parts, every quote lists them with unit price and the location they ship from. Send your terminal drawing, cable samples, annual quantity and acceptance requirements to start the application review.

WM-3120T — common questions

Does this machine cut or strip the cable?

No. The operator presents a prepared cable end for crimping. For integrated preparation and termination, see our terminal crimping machines and send the required sequence with your inquiry.

What cable sizes and terminals can it crimp?

Compatibility depends on terminal geometry, conductor construction, die profile and required closure force. Send the terminal part number or drawing, conductor cross-section and insulation diameter. We confirm the workable combination on the quote after reviewing the samples.

Do the alarms replace inspection or pull testing?

No. The listed alarms identify specified crimping errors; their detection needs to be demonstrated for the selected job. We agree crimp dimensions, pull-test requirements and sample inspection with you. Alarm capability is not a claim of calibrated force-curve monitoring or traceability data export.

How is this different from WM-3110T?

WM-3110T has 100 kN force, 30 mm stroke, 2.3 kW power and 138 kg weight. WM-3120T has 200 kN force, 40 mm stroke, 5.5 kW power and 380 kg weight. Select by the terminal, die and loading requirements; higher force alone does not improve a correctly matched crimp.

What output should we use in our cost calculation?

Use a trial with your actual cable, including loading, crimping, removal and inspection. Send typical batch sizes, annual quantities and the number of terminal changes. We assess the complete workstation and tooling cost rather than assigning an unverified pieces-per-hour figure.

How do you prepare the machine and spare parts for export?

We set the voltage for your country and ship the English interface and manual. For wear parts, every quote lists them with unit price and the location they ship from. The quote confirms the required supply, tooling and installation details.
