The machine is all-electric where it counts: clamp force and crimp force are motor driven under program control, not set by air pressure on a gauge, and 100 stored recipes mean a wire-size change is a screen tap. Square or hexagon — which crimp profile does the WM-397 produce?

Both, plus single-side and double-side shapes — the crimp form is selectable rather than fixed by the frame. Terminal block and connector makers differ in which profile they specify for tube terminals, so pick the shape your inspection standard calls for. How do the two crimping ranges 0.3–4 mm² and 2.5–6 mm² work together?

The machine spans 0.3 to 6 mm² across two overlapping tooling ranges, and the touch screen carries one-tap presets for 0.3, 0.5, 0.75, 1.0, 1.5, 2.5, 4.0 and 6.0 mm² terminals. The WM-3116 servo press spans 0.3–16 mm² at about 4 seconds per piece, while the WM-397 stays within 0.3–6 mm² but cycles in 2.5 seconds and offers the selectable four-side and hex crimp shapes. Choose by your largest cross-section first, then by whether a specific crimp profile is written into your spec.
