Automatic Wire Harness Taping Machine for Bundles Φ3–30 mm WM-467

HS Code 8479.89 Φ3–30 mm bundles

The WM-467 winds adhesive tape around wire harness bundles from Φ3 to 30 mm for marking, fixing and insulation, taking tape from 2 to 30 mm wide with no limit on wrapping length. The operator selects continuous, point (spot) or multi-segment wrapping on the touch screen — English interface — and drives the wrap with a foot switch, keeping both hands free to guide the harness. Runs on 110/220 VAC, 50/60 Hz.

Key features

  • Three wrapping modes on one screen — continuous wrapping along the run, point wrapping for tape bands, and multi-segment wrapping for harnesses with branch take-outs
  • Wide Φ3–30 mm bundle window and 2–30 mm tape width cover thin signal branches and thick main trunks on the same machine
  • Foot-switch operation leaves both hands on the harness, so long runs stay straight through the head
  • Taping head runs behind a clear guard with the tape blade concealed inside — wrap quality stays visible, fingers stay out
  • Guide rollers ahead of the head keep the bundle centered as it feeds, holding a consistent overlap pitch
  • Free sample test — send your harness and tape, we wrap it on this machine and send you the video before you order

What it processes

  • Tape wrapping of wire harnesses for automobiles, motorcycles and aviation
  • Marking, fixing and insulation wraps on harness main runs and branches, bundle Φ3–30 mm
  • Harness shops replacing hand taping on continuous runs, spot bands and branched sections

Suited for: tape wrapping of wire harness bundles from Φ3 to 30 mm — continuous spiral runs, point bands and multi-segment wraps on branched harnesses for automotive, motorcycle and aviation work. The black felt-taped harness in the gallery came off this machine. Not suited for: bundles thicker than 30 mm — the extended-height WM-4136 covers Φ3–40 mm; nor for taping harnesses already installed in a vehicle — take the handheld WM-4110 to the work instead. For high-volume fixed-position spot bands with piece-to-piece registration, the WM-4105 spot taping machine is built for exactly that. And where the run is straight, repeated and under about a metre — power cords and single-branch leads — the WM-471 taping machine with cable traction pulls the cable through the head itself over a 1,050 mm stroke, so the pitch does not depend on the operator’s hand.

WM-467 — common questions

What bundle and tape sizes does the WM-467 handle?

It wraps wire harness bundles from Φ3 to 30 mm in diameter and accepts tape from 2 to 30 mm wide, with no limitation on wrapping length. If your bundles or tape fall outside these ranges, tell us — the machine can be customized to customer requests.

What is the difference between the wrapping modes?

Continuous mode wraps tape in a spiral along the whole run. Point mode places a tape band at a position and stops — used for bundling and marking. Multi-segment mode wraps several sections one after another with gaps between them, which is how branched harnesses are taped. All three are selected on the touch screen, which has an English interface.

My harness trunks are thicker than 30 mm — what then?

Pick the WM-4136 extended-height version of this machine — it covers bundles from Φ3 to 40 mm with the same 2–30 mm tape width and unlimited wrapping length, and its taller head clears bulky padded sections.

What power does it need?

Standard single-phase 110 or 220 VAC at 50/60 Hz — the machine adapts to both common supply voltages, so the same unit runs in 110 V and 220 V markets.
