Cold-Knife Hook-and-Loop and Webbing Shape Cutter, 80 mm Width WM-612
The WM-612 cuts hook-and-loop, webbing and tape up to 80 mm wide to a set length from 10 to 9,999 mm with a cold knife, and can finish each piece with a straight, rounded-corner, circle or chamfered end. It feeds at 6,500 mm/min, holds ±0.5 mm, stops when the roll runs out, and keeps the length, count and speed settings through a power cut. 300 W, 220/110 V.

Common site supplies are 120 V, 60 Hz with grounded Type B outlets in the US and Canada, with 208 V or 240 V also found at industrial sites. The UK and Ireland use 230 V, 50 Hz with Type G. Australia and New Zealand use nominal 230 V, 50 Hz with Type I, and some Australian sites list 240 V. Three-phase installations in the UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand commonly use 400 V at 50 Hz, with 415 V at some Australian sites. |

Key features
- Four end shapes from one machine — straight, rounded corner, circle and chamfered — so Velcro straps come off ready to sew without a second die-cutting step
- Cold knife with adjustable stroke rate for thickness; no heater, so no melted edge on hook-and-loop or on webbing that must stay soft
- Set length, quantity and speed on the panel; the settings survive a power cut and the machine stops itself when the roll runs out
- 80 mm width and 10–9,999 mm length cover strap, band and label work; ±0.5 mm on length
- 300 W on 220 or 110 V — we set the voltage for your country and ship the manual in English
What it processes
- Hook-and-loop straps and webbing cut to length with rounded or chamfered ends
- Shops cutting the same tape by hand who now need a counted batch every day
- Label, band and strap work up to 80 mm wide that does not need a sealed edge
Suited for: tape and webbing ≤ 80 mm wide, cold cut to length, with straight or shaped ends. For other jobs and machine options: stacked take-away and a heat blade — WM-579. Wider angled webbing — WM-566. Rotary-die Velcro rolls — WM-589. Ultrasonic sealed shapes — WM-596.
Send 2–3 metres of the actual tape. Width and thickness decide the knife setting, not the product name on the roll — we cut your sample on video before you order. For a WM-612 quote, start with your webbing, tape or strip width and the finish you need at the cut edge. If the end has to be sealed or cut to a shape, include a photo or sketch.

- Cutting 316 Stainless Wire Rope to 6 Inches with WM-9323A U.S. customer sent 1/8-inch 316 stainless wire rope for a 152.4 mm cut trial. See the cut ends and the checks needed for ferrule fit and length.

WM-612 — common questions
Is this a hot knife?
No, cold knife. If you need a sealed melt edge on synthetic webbing, look at the WM-566 or the ultrasonic WM-596.
How many pieces a day before a machine makes sense?
If you cut a few hundred straps a week, a bench guillotine with a stop is honestly enough. This machine pays back when the batch is thousands, the length must repeat within half a millimetre, or the ends need a shape a guillotine cannot give. Tell us your monthly quantity and we will say which side of that line you are on.
I need a stacker and a heat blade.
That is the WM-579.
I need a rotary die on a roll of Velcro.
That is the WM-589.
I need 160 mm, not 80 mm.
That is the WM-602.
Where do blades come from?
The knife is the wear part. Every quote lists it with unit price and the location it ships from.
