The WM-4810 is a floor-standing automatic coil winder with a digital meter counter for wire and cable from 0.5 to 16 mm diameter. It pays wire off the feed rollers, counts length to a stated 25 mm tolerance, and traverse-winds neat coils with inner diameters from 30 to 350 mm at 5–600 turns per minute — length, number of turns and speed are all set on the PLC touch screen.

Suited for: winding measured coils of wire, cable, trimmer line or soft tube from 0.5 to 16 mm diameter — counting the meters, laying the turns neatly and cutting each coil off automatically. Not suited for: jobs where the coil must leave the machine already tied — for an integrated measure–cut–coil–tie line on cable OD 3–12 mm use the WM-4808 figure-8 cutting, coiling and tying machine, or tie the coils this machine winds on the WM-4807 semi-automatic winding and twist tie machine (bundle Ø 5–35 mm).

The meter counter is what separates this machine from a simple spooler. Wire runs from the guide-roller inlet through the counting wheel and pinch rollers, and the counter is calibrated on screen against a real measured length — so a 100 m retail coil actually contains 100 m, within the stated 25 mm tolerance. Choose meter mode when you sell by length, or turns mode when the coil is defined by its turn count.

Coil removal is designed around keeping the coil round: the winding reel is built from collapsible segments, so after the cut the segments retract and the take-off arm slides the finished coil clear without stretching the inner turns. If you do not need the meter counter — coils defined by turn count rather than by length, wound at the packing bench instead of in front of the drum rack — the WM-4817 semi-automatic cable coiling machine with level winding does the same neat traverse winding on cable up to 13 mm in a 40 kg benchtop frame, with a pneumatic flange release and no counting head.

Downstream of this machine, the coils it winds still have to be packed. The WM-4818 cable coil stretch film wrapping machine takes a finished coil with a bore of 120 mm or more, an outer diameter up to 400 mm and a height of 50–120 mm, and wraps it in stretch film at about 120 coils per hour — so the coil leaves the line as a sealed, labellable package instead of a loose bundle.
