The WM-4823 measures, winds, cuts and ties in one horizontal cycle. Wire from Ø2–7 mm or Ø6–10 mm runs through the metering path into a coil with an 80–250 mm inner diameter and a maximum outer diameter of 300 mm; coil width is set from 10 to 70 mm. Winding speed is adjustable from 1 to 4 cycles per second across 1–999 cycles, on a 60 kg frame that draws up to 1,000 W from AC 220 V / 110 V.

• Lines that need meter counting plus a cut, not only wind-and-tie of pre-cut pieces

Suited for: measured coils of Ø2–7 mm or Ø6–10 mm wire and cable — including flat/ribbon and 2-pin double wire — that must leave the machine cut to length and tied, with coil inner diameter 80–250 mm and outer diameter up to 300 mm. Not suited for: pre-cut cords that only need figure-8 winding and a twist tie — use the WM-4815 figure-8 winding and binding machine (Φ6.2 mm, ≤6 m) or the WM-4811 winding and tying machine (≤Φ10 mm, figure-8 or round). Coils that must be wrapped in stretch film after winding go to the WM-4818 cable coil stretch film wrapping machine (120–400 mm outer diameter), not this cell.

The cut is what separates this machine from a wind-and-tie packing station. Cable comes off the drum, the metering path sets the length, the winding disc builds the coil, the cut separates the piece, and the tying head closes the bundle — so packing does not start with a loose, uncut length on the bench. The 60 kg horizontal frame keeps the cell at bench height; if you need the taller floor-standing envelope with a 350 mm outer-diameter ceiling, that is the WM-4813.
