What exactly does the operator do per cycle?
Two touches. Lay the wire across the winding port and step on the foot pedal once — the disc winds the programmed number of turns and brakes at its fixed stop. Then move the wound coil to the tying port, where the tie is wrapped, twisted and cut automatically in about 0.6 seconds. There is no tie handling by hand at any point.
How is it different from a fully automatic coiling and tying station?
The WM-4807 is operator-paced — a person moves the coil from the winding disc to the tying port, which is what keeps it at 25 kg and benchtop size. If the line needs hands-free round coiling with ties applied at up to 1,200 pieces per hour, that is the WM-4800 automatic coiling and double-tie machine.
