The WM-4807 puts winding and tying side by side on one 25 kg benchtop frame: lay the wire on the winding port, step on the pedal once, and the stepper-driven disc winds the programmed turn count — up to 999 — then brakes at a fixed unload point. Present the wound coil to the tying port and the machine wraps, twists and cuts the tie by itself, 0.6 seconds per tie, with tie lengths of 65–150 mm on bundles from 5 to 35 mm in diameter.

Suited for: operator-paced winding plus twist tying of consumer and data cables — USB, HDMI, power cords, network and AV leads — bundle diameter 5–35 mm, tie length 65–150 mm. Not suited for: hands-free coiling and tying at line rates — use the WM-4800 automatic coiling and double-tie machine (wire or tube up to Ø10 mm, up to 1,200 pcs/h); nor measuring and cutting raw cable off a reel before coiling — that is the WM-4808 automatic cutting, figure-8 coiling and tying machine (cable Ø3–12 mm).

What the pedal buys you is consistency. Hand-wound coils vary with whoever wound them; here the turn count is a number on the screen, the disc brakes at the same point every cycle, and the tie is applied by the machine rather than by feel — so coil after coil comes off the bench looking the same in the retail bag. The adjustable posts on the winding disc set the coil diameter, which means a SKU change is a parameter edit and a post adjustment, not a tooling swap.
