Benchtop Digital Terminal Pull Tester, 0–1,000 N, USB and LAN WM-831B
The WM-831B is an alternate build of our benchtop motorized pull tester, with the same specification as the WM-831 — peak force to 0.01 N up to 1,000 N, set-speed pull, toothed automatic clamp, force–time curve — plus a LAN port beside the two USB ports on the rear panel for shops that log pull tests to a network. About 11 kg; it sits beside the crimp press. Quoted separately from the WM-831.

Key features
- Same tester as the WM-831 with a LAN jack added on the rear panel next to USB host and USB device — for logging pull results to a shop network
- Motorized pull at a set speed, so a pass/fail number means the same thing every shift
- 0.01 N resolution to 1,000 N with a force–time curve and export for the customer record
- Toothed automatic clamp — no jaw adjustment between wire sizes
- Two documents currently give slightly different figures for stroke, accuracy and size; both are printed above and we confirm the shipping unit's figures on the quote

Suited for: a motorized bench pull on crimped terminals up to about 1,000 N, with network logging. Not suited for: a hand lever — WM-817. A tall column with long stroke — WM-832. USB-only build of this tester — WM-831.

WM-831B — common questions
How is this different from the WM-831?
Same specification and same tester; this build adds a LAN port on the rear panel. WM-831 is the USB-only version. The two are quoted separately — tell us which page you are looking at.
Why are two numbers on the same row?
Our datasheet and the printed manual for this unit disagree on peak load, accuracy, stroke, speed, voltage, size and weight. We print both rather than pick one, and we confirm the figures of the unit that ships on the quote.
I need a lever gauge, not a motor.
That is the WM-817 — 500 N, hand lever, dial.
I need a vertical column at a set speed.
WM-832 is the 400 mm / 500 N column. Heavy lugs go to the WM-811 or the WM-830.
