Automatic Wire Crimp Pull Tester with Touch Screen, 500 N WM-820
The WM-820 is a motor-driven bench tester that pulls crimped terminals off the wire at a programmed constant speed and captures the peak force on a color touch screen. It tests up to 500 N (0–50 kg) at ±0.04 N accuracy with pull speeds from 10 to 800 mm/min — a 1,000 N version is available on request. Besides destructive peak-force pulls it runs non-destructive hold tests against a set load limit, stores 16 test programs, and connects to a PC and printer for peak graphs and real-time printout. At 10 kg and 430 × 180 × 210 mm it sits on the bench beside the crimping press.

WM-820 — common questions
How is the WM-820 different from a hand-lever pull tester?
A hand lever loads the joint at whatever rate the operator pulls, so readings scatter. The WM-820 pulls with a motor at a programmed constant speed and records the peak automatically, which is what pull-out specifications assume. If a simple lever check is all your line needs, the WM-817 manual pull force tester covers the same 500 N range at a lower cost.
Can it test terminals without destroying them?
Yes. Set an upper force limit and a hold time, and the machine loads the joint to that limit, holds, and releases. A joint that survives passes and ships; only failed joints are lost. Destructive peak-force testing to full pull-off is available in the same program list.
What if my specification calls for more than 500 N?
A 1,000 N build of the WM-820 is available on request — tell us your target values when you inquire. For heavy lugs and specifications well beyond that, the WM-811 terminal tensile testing machine tests from 10 to 10,000 N with automatic clamping and report printing.
