Light-Spool Wire Prefeeder for Reels up to 25 kg WM-9154
The WM-9154 is a powered pay-off stand for light wire reels up to 25 kg. A 180 W motor with ten speed steps turns the spool, a dancer arm holds a slack loop, and a sensor stops the motor when the loop is full — so a bench cutter pulls free wire instead of dragging the reel, and cut lengths stay put as the spool empties. 220 V, 800 × 630 × 1,003 mm.

Key features
- Dancer arm and sensor — when the slack loop is full the motor stops, when the cutter takes wire it restarts; the cutter never pulls against the reel
- Sized for the light reels a benchtop cutter actually runs: up to 25 kg on a shaft with a spool hub and guide rollers
- Ten speed steps on the panel match the feeder to slow and fast cutters without an inverter to program
- 180 W on 220 V, 800 × 630 mm footprint — stands behind the bench, not in the aisle
What it processes
- In front of a bench cut-and-strip machine on a reel up to 25 kg
- Hookup wire and thin PVC on reels too heavy for the cutter to pull cleanly, too light for a 60 kg stand
Suited for: a reel up to 25 kg in front of a bench cutter. Not suited for: 60 kg — WM-9153. 150 kg — WM-9152. 250 kg — WM-9334.
Send the reel width and bore. The shaft is for light drums; we confirm the hub fits your spool before shipment.

- Cut Lengths Drifting on a Full Spool: Pay-Off Tension, Straightener Bearings and MisfeedWhy a cut-and-strip machine that held length on a loose coil walks 10–20 mm once a heavy reel goes on, how misfeed detection works, and how to check reel tension, straighteners, feed grip and encoder calibration.
- What Arrives in the Crate: Voltage, Interface Language, Wear Parts and the First HourDelivery checks cover the supply voltage, interface language, transport condition, operating manual and replacement wear parts. What we set before shipment, and what to check in the first hour.

WM-9154 — common questions
Does a 25 kg reel still need a feeder?
If the cutter is pulling the reel itself, yes — a 25 kg spool is enough drag to walk the cut length as the coil tightens and the pull changes. This stand feeds, then stops. If you already have a WM-167, WM-1235 or WM-1236, put this in the same quote.
How fast is it?
Speed is set in ten steps to match the cutter's draw rather than rated in metres per second; the dancer loop does the fine matching. Tell us the cutter it will feed and we set the range before shipment.
What voltage arrives?
220 V standard; tell us your supply and we set the unit for your country before shipment.
