Automatic Wire Pay-Off Stand for 150 kg Reels up to Ø700 mm WM-9152
The WM-9152 is a powered pay-off stand for cable coils of 300–700 mm diameter, up to 150 kg and 680 mm wide, feeding cable up to Ø16 mm at up to 70 m/min. A 3+2 dancer with Ø140 mm wheels drives an inverter so the pay-off speed tracks the cutter, taking the reel's drag off the feed belts — the usual cause of cut lengths drifting once a full spool goes on. It sits between the 50 kg WM-9150 and the 250 kg cradle WM-9334.

Key features
- 150 kg / 300–700 mm coil / 680 mm width — between the 50 kg WM-9150 and the 250 kg WM-9334
- 3+2 dancer at Ø140 mm. A free-spinning jack stand is not the same machine
- Inverter panel on the mast is FWD / REV / Hz
- Manual reel handling. If the coil will not go onto a shaft, use the [WM-9334](/products/wire-feeding-payoff/powered-wire-spool-dereeler-machine-250-kg-wm-9334/)
What it processes
- In front of a floor-standing cut-and-strip cell when the reel is too heavy for the belts to pull
- Pre-feeding a crimp or tin station that currently pulls the reel itself
Suited for: paying off a 300–700 mm, ≤150 kg coil of cable up to Ø16 mm into a cutter or crimp cell. Not suited for: small bench spools — WM-9332. 50 kg lines that need 4 m/s — WM-9150. Spools you will not lift onto a shaft (Ø450 mm / 250 kg) — WM-9334. Ø600 mm / tonne-class mill drums — WM-9151. Tension-sensitive coax — WM-9105C.
70 m/min is not a race against the 4 m/s stand — this is a different load class, built to brake a 150 kg coil smoothly rather than to sprint. Send the coil drawing with the inquiry and we confirm the fit before quoting.

WM-9152 — common questions
Cut lengths drifted after we put a full spool on. Is the cutter broken?
Check reel drag, feed-belt grip and the loaded start-stop cycle before attributing length drift to the cutter. This stand reduces the load transferred from the reel; it does not independently guarantee a cutting tolerance of 0.002×L. If your target is 0.002×L, confirm its units, length range and acceptance method on your actual line. For a WM-1420 or similar floor cutter, we confirm the interface and loaded trial with this 150 kg feeder.
How is this different from the WM-9150 and the WM-9334?
WM-9150 is 50 kg and 4 m/s — lighter reel, faster line. This stand is 150 kg and 70 m/min (about 1.2 m/s) with a shaft-and-dancer frame. WM-9334 is 250 kg on a roller cradle with a ramp, for spools you will not lift onto a shaft. WM-9151 is the 1.5 t mill-spool machine.
What coil will actually sit on it?
300–700 mm diameter, 680 mm width, 150 kg. Two coils of the same weight brake differently, so send flange diameter, width, bore and full weight with the inquiry and we confirm the shaft and dancer setting for your coil.
Do I need this for a small bench spool?
No. Small bench spools belong on the WM-9332. This frame is for coils in the 150 kg class.
Where do wear parts come from?
Dancer wheels, drive belt and the inverter are the service items. Every quote lists them with unit price and the location they ship from.
