Flat Cable Slitting and Stripping Machine, 2–12 Pins, Bench Unit WM-1227B
The WM-1227B is the single-unit bench version of our flat-cable slitting and stripping machine. It cuts 2–12 pin ribbon and parallel cable to length, slits the conductors apart over 0.1–150 mm, and strips 25 mm at the head and 80 mm at the tail, with up to 15 mid-cable windows, at 3,000–8,000 pieces an hour. Same specification as the WM-1227 and WM-1227C — this build is the compact 40 kg box with an output tray, quoted separately.

Suited for: 2–12 pin flat cable that must be slit and stripped in one pass, in a compact single bench unit. Not suited for: round single-core — WM-167. 10–120 mm² flat power ribbon — WM-161PX. Short 15 mm tails only — WM-1220. Other builds of this specification — WM-1227 (stand and belt), WM-1227C (two-unit set).
Send 2–3 metres of the actual ribbon. The 3 × 20 mm guide is what decides fit, not the pin count on the label.

WM-1227B — common questions
How is this different from the WM-1227 and WM-1227C?
Same specification, three builds. WM-1227 is the head on a stand with a conveyor belt; WM-1227C is a two-unit bench set with a separate straightener. This page is the single bench box. Each is quoted separately — tell us which page you are looking at.
How is this different from the WM-1220?
WM-1220 strips 0–15 mm, 13 windows, 3,000–5,000 pcs/h with a 100 × 22 × 2.8 mm guide. This machine strips 25 / 80 mm, 15 windows, 3,000–8,000 pcs/h through a 3 × 20 mm guide. If your connectors only need short tails, the 1220 is enough.
Will it nick 26 AWG PTFE?
It is built for 0.1–10 mm² conductors in flat cable, and PTFE ribbon is a sample question. Send 2–3 metres and we run it on video before you order.
Round hookup wire?
The flat guide is for flat cable. Round wire belongs on the WM-167.
Where do blades come from?
Blades and the guide tube are the wear parts. Every quote lists them with unit price and the location they ship from.
