Automatic 2-Pin Flat Cable Cutting, Stripping and Splitting Machine WM-182

CE Certified HS Code 8463.90 2P flat cable 1,000–2,000 pcs/h

The WM-182 takes 2-pin flat cable — speaker wire, LED zip cord and small-appliance parallel cord — and cuts it to length, strips both ends and splits the two conductors apart in one automatic cycle. Stripping length is programmable from 0.1 to 30 mm at head and tail with 0.01 mm stripping accuracy, and output runs 1,000–2,000 pieces per hour. Piece count, batch size and batch delay are set on an English touchscreen. At 470 × 450 × 350 mm and 33.1 kg it fits on a bench beside your crimping stations.

Key features

  • Cuts, strips and splits zip cord in one cycle — no second operator pulling conductors apart by hand
  • Stripping accuracy of 0.01 mm gives clean, repeatable strip windows on both conductors at once
  • 1,000–2,000 pieces per hour from a benchtop footprint of only 470 × 450 × 350 mm
  • English touchscreen with piece count, batch size and batch-delay settings for tray-by-tray production

What it processes

  • Speaker wire, LED strip feed wire and audio zip cord cut-strip-split preparation
  • Two-core flat power cord ends readied for plug crimping and molding lines
  • Harness shops replacing manual knife splitting of parallel-bonded cable

Suited for: 2-pin parallel flat cable — speaker wire, LED zip cord and small-appliance cord — cut to length with both ends stripped and the two conductors split apart, ready for terminals. Not suited for: flat cable with more than two conductors, round multi-core sheathed cable or single hookup wire — for 3- to 12-pin ribbon and parallel cable, pick the WM-1220 flat ribbon cable cutting and stripping machine (2–12 P, strip 0–15 mm, 3,000–5,000 pcs/h), or the WM-1227 parallel twin cable splitting and stripping machine if you also need middle stripping and an 80 mm tail strip (2–12 pins, 3,000–8,000 pcs/h); for sheathed rounds, pick the WM-168HT multi-core cut and strip machine (2–8 cores, Φ3–10 mm); single hookup wire runs faster on the WM-167 benchtop cut and strip machine at up to 8,000 pieces per hour.

Send 2–3 meters of your actual flat cable and we run it on this machine on camera — strip windows, split length and piece rate verified on video before you order.

WM-182 — common questions

What cable does the WM-182 process?

Two-conductor parallel flat cable — the figure-8 zip cord used for speakers, LED feeds and light appliance cords. It cuts to length, strips 0.1–30 mm at head and tail, then splits the two cores apart so each conductor is ready for its terminal. Throughput is 1,000–2,000 pieces per hour depending on length and strip settings.

How is a job set up and run?

Cut length, strip lengths, piece count, batch size and batch delay are entered on the English touchscreen, and roller pressure is adjusted on a marked front dial for different jacket thicknesses. The rear panel opens for direct access to the pneumatic valves when servicing the split unit.

What is it not built for?

Round sheathed multi-core cable and ordinary single hookup wire — the splitting station is specific to 2-pin parallel cord. For general wire and multi-core jackets, pick from the automatic cut and strip machines in this category instead.
