Automatic 2-Core and 3-Core Cable Machine for Staggered Core Stripping and Terminal Crimping WM-399
The WM-399 processes round 2-core and 3-core power cable in one pass — it opens the outer jacket, strips each conductor to its own programmed length so the terminals sit staggered instead of colliding, then crimps a reel-fed terminal onto every core at 4 tons of crimping force. Rated output is 1,200 to 1,500 pcs per hour at a yield of 99% or better, running on AC 220 V / 50 Hz at 4 kW or less with 0.5 to 0.8 MPa shop air. Strip lengths are entered numerically on the touch screen, and the standard OTP precision applicator swaps out when the terminal changes.

Suited for: 2-core and 3-core round power cable that must leave the machine with every conductor stripped to its own length and a terminal crimped on each one, at 1,200–1,500 pcs/h and 4 tons of crimping force.
Not suited for: loose single wires rather than sheathed cable — for discrete leads, the WM-3202 double-end crimping machine cuts, strips and crimps AWG 18–28 wire at 3,800+ pcs/h. Cable that needs one end crimped and the other end twisted and tinned instead of terminated is the job of the WM-391 sheathed cable crimping and tinning machine, covering OD 2.0–6.5 mm and 2–10 cores. If a heat-shrink tube has to go over each crimp in the same cycle, use the WM-394 crimping and heat shrink tube inserting machine. Why do the cores come out at different lengths?
Because the terminals have to sit side by side without touching. The machine strips each conductor of the cable to its own programmed length, so after crimping the terminals are offset from each other and slide straight into their positions in the housing or onto a terminal block. Strip lengths are entered numerically on the touch screen, one value per core.
How many cores can it handle and how big are the terminals?
The machine is built for 2-core and 3-core round cable, and it crimps at 4 tons — enough for the heavier power terminals that lighter automatic crimpers cannot form. The published data sheet does not state a cable cross-section or outer-diameter range, so send us your exact cable spec and terminal drawing and we will confirm coverage before quoting.
How fast is it in real production?
Rated output is 1,200 to 1,500 pieces per hour with a yield of 99% or better. Actual pace depends on your cable construction, strip lengths and terminal, which is why we run your own sample on the machine and send you the trial video first.
Can it change over to a different terminal?
Yes. It ships with a standard OTP precision applicator, and swapping the applicator is what changes the terminal — the conveyor, strip stations and program stay in place. Tell us every terminal part number you plan to run and we will list the applicators you need.
