The WM-470 winds adhesive tape around a wound coil clamped inside a rotating ring — the tape arm travels a full circle around the coil body, so each turn closes on itself without threading the reel through by hand. It runs at 46 pcs/min with a ±0.2 mm tolerance range, takes tape reels with a 34 mm or 77 mm core, and the tape axis spacing adjusts from 25 to 85 mm. Benchtop format: 250 × 550 × 300 mm, 30 kg, on a 220 V AC 50 Hz 60 W supply.

Suited for: full-coverage tape winding on small wound coils — transformer bobbins, magnetic core, resistance and relay coils — loaded one at a time into a fixture, 46 pcs/min at ±0.2 mm. Not suited for: short tape bands placed at intervals around large wound coils and ring cores — that is the WM-468 toroidal coil tape wrapping machine, which lays one band per 1.5-second cycle with 10–15 mm tape. For continuous spiral taping along a wire harness bundle, use the WM-467 automatic wire harness taping machine for Φ3–30 mm bundles; for spot taping at programmed points, the WM-464 two-station spot taping machine.

Coil taping is fixture work: the taping head is standard, the clamp that holds your coil is not. Include the coil dimensions, the pin or lead arrangement and your tape spec in the inquiry so the fixture and the tape axis setting are confirmed before the machine is quoted.
