The WM-822 twists prepared shield braid, drain wires and loose conductor strands into a pigtail, covering conductors from 0.1 to 2 mm² with twisting lengths of 5–80 mm (customizable to 150 mm). A pneumatic clamping plate running on 1.5–2.5 kg/cm² shop air opens automatically — the operator holds the wire in place and taps the foot switch to complete the twist. The 10 W drive spins the head at 1,400 rpm, and the 12 kg unit plugs into 220 V AC at any bench.

Suited for: twisting prepared shields, ground wires, braided wire and isolation wire from 0.1 to 2 mm², with twisting lengths of 5–80 mm — extendable to 150 mm as an optional configuration — at a pneumatic bench station. Not suited for: brushing-only preparation at benches without compressed air — the WM-821 benchtop cable shield brushing machine combs shields open up to 50 mm on mains power alone.
