The WM-9308 is a semi-automatic dual-fixture O-ring fitter built around brass connector bodies. A vibratory plate feeds loose O-rings to a matched pair of press fixtures; the operator presents each brass body to one of the two stations while the English touchscreen reports Left Seal Ring / Right Seal Ring status, alarm messages, current output and total output. The machine is customized according to customer samples — send the connectors and rings for a feasibility run before you order.

Key features

  • Dual fixtures cut for brass connector bodies — as pictured, left and right press stations share one ring bowl so one operator can load one side while the other presses
  • English HMI shows Left Seal Ring and Right Seal Ring OK status on the same page as the alarm log, so a starved ring path or a missed seat is visible without opening the guard
  • Vibratory O-ring feed keeps the operator on the brass body, not on picking rings out of a bag
  • Positioning jig and press mechanism are the changeover parts — swap them when the connector family changes instead of buying a second cabinet
  • The stated positioning error under ±0.01 mm must be confirmed on your samples during the trial run; it is not a verified measurement result for your parts
  • We confirm capacity, power and air requirements on the quote after the sample run

What it processes

  • Brass fluid and gas connectors that need a rubber O-ring seated on the nose or in a groove — as pictured, threaded brass bodies with black rings
  • Job-shop and mixed-batch connector work where two fixtures on one bench outpace a single-jaw machine but a fully automatic cell is not filled
  • Benches where rings are still rolled on by hand and the scrap is nicked, twisted or missing rings on brass threads

Suited for: seating an O-ring on a brass connector body at a dual-fixture semi-automatic bench — left and right seal-ring paths on one English HMI, vibratory ring feed, tooling cut from your samples.

Not suited for: unattended volume where the brass bodies themselves must be bowl-fed — step up to the WM-9306 fully automatic rotary O-ring assembly machine or the WM-9312 automatic O-ring assembly machine with O-ring oiling station. If you want a dual-station cabinet with a full published utility table rather than a brass-specific fixture set, that is the WM-9305 semi-automatic dual-station O-ring assembly machine. If you need a smaller single-station benchtop with ring lubrication, that is the WM-9314 semi-automatic O-ring assembly machine. Also not suited for: PTFE tape on a thread — the WM-461 automatic PTFE thread seal tape winding machine — or rubber seals that slide onto a wire before crimping — the WM-377 double-end wire seal insertion and crimping machine.

Because the tooling is built to the customer’s brass bodies and rings, ordering starts with samples: send both, the fixtures are trial-run on them, and you receive the run results before the machine ships.

WM-9308 — common questions

How many connectors per hour does it do?

Capacity is confirmed on the quote. The English screen in our photos shows Current Output and Total Output counters and a live P/min field during that run, but we do not treat a single photographed reading as a rated production capacity. Send your brass bodies and rings; we time them on the dual fixtures and quote a realistic rate with the price.

How is this different from the WM-9305 and the WM-9314?

All three are semi-automatic — the operator presents the body, the machine feeds and seats the ring. The WM-9305 is a general dual-station cabinet with a full published table (about 1,200 ring assembly cycles/hour, 800 × 550 × 320 mm, 0.5–0.7 MPa, AC 220 V). The WM-9314 is a smaller single-station benchtop with built-in ring lubrication, rated at about 1,000 pieces per hour in 500 × 460 × 300 mm. The WM-9308 is the brass-connector dual-fixture variant — fixtures, press heads and sample set in the gallery are cut around brass bodies, and the English HMI names Left / Right Seal Ring explicitly. Choose it when the part family is brass connectors; choose WM-9305 when you want the published dual-station utility table; choose WM-9314 when you need oiling in a single-jaw box.

Does it lubricate the O-ring?

No oiling unit is listed on the published page for this model and none appears in the selected photographs. If the ring has to go on wet, say so in the inquiry — the WM-9314 and the WM-9318 both carry lubrication, and we will route you there rather than promise a pump this cabinet does not have.

What about the ±0.01 mm positioning claim?

That figure is a positioning value to confirm during a trial, not a verified measurement result for your parts. We measure positioning on your brass samples and record the result in the quotation before making a performance commitment.

Can it run my brass connector?

The dual fixtures, positioning jigs and press heads are made for one connector family at a time. Send us the connectors and the O-rings; they are run on the machine and you get feasibility, rate and price before anything is built.
