The WM-4827 winds pre-cut cable into a figure-8 coil and closes it with one paper band tie, at a theoretical output up to 1,200 pieces per hour. Applicable wire covers OD 2.0 mm and 2.2/2.8/3.0 mm double-pin line plus OD 2.5 and 3.0 mm single-core wire, with paper tape length 80–90 mm, cable length up to 6 m and winding distance 100–240 mm on a 1,076 × 770 × 1,560 mm station at 210–240 V, 5 A and 0.4–0.55 MPa air.

What it processes

Suited for: pre-cut fine wire and double-pin line from OD 2.0 through 3.0 mm, up to 6 m, wound figure-8 and closed with one paper band at 80–90 mm tape length — winding distance 100–240 mm, head length 0–100 mm. Not suited for: twist-tie wire closure on cord up to Φ6.2 mm — that is the WM-4815 figure-8 winding and binding machine or its WM-4815B alternate build. Heavier cable up to Φ10 mm with twist tie belongs on the WM-4822 or WM-4822B. Cable still on the reel that must be measured and cut first goes to the WM-4808.

Paper band is the whole reason this machine sits next to the twist-tie figure-8 stations. The geometry is the same — crossing at the waist stops the coil unwinding — but the closure material is printable paper tape on a roll, not reel-fed metal or plastic tie wire. That limits the wire list to the fine diameters in the specification and caps length at 6 m.
