The WM-4815B is an alternate build of the Φ6.2 mm figure-8 wind-and-tie station: same published envelope as the WM-4815 — pre-cut cord up to 6 m, winding distance 65–240 mm, single twist tie under 45 mm, theoretical 1,500 pcs/h, 800 × 600 × 1,400 mm — built as a separate unit and quoted separately from the WM-4815.

Key features

  • Same published figure-8 + single twist-tie envelope as the WM-4815 — Φ6.2 mm, ≤6 m, 65–240 mm winding distance, ≤45 mm tied bundle
  • Orange-and-white enclosed station with overhead transfer gripper that lifts the tied coil clear of the forming posts
  • Reel-fed twist-tie head wraps and cuts in one motion after the winding cycle
  • Forming posts on the rotary table set coil size without a tooling change
  • Head length 0–100 mm keeps plug ends outside the coil when the packing spec requires it
  • Free sample test — send your cut cords; we run them on this machine and send the video before you order

What it processes

  • USB, AC and DC power cords bundled after cut-strip-crimp or plug molding
  • Pre-cut leads up to 6 m and Φ6.2 mm packed as tied figure-8 coils

Suited for: pre-cut cord ≤Φ6.2 mm and ≤6 m wound into a figure-8 and closed with one twist tie — the same job as the WM-4815, in an alternate build. Not suited for: cord that still has to be measured and cut first — that belongs on the WM-4808; heavier cord up to Φ10 mm on the WM-4811 or WM-4822.

The letter B marks an alternate build, not a firmware option. The specification matches the WM-4815 line for line; the enclosure finish and transfer-gripper geometry differ, and each build is quoted on its own. Tell us which page you are looking at.

Send a box of your cut cords with the target coil size and tie position. We run them on this machine and send the trial video before you commit.

WM-4815B — common questions

How is the WM-4815B different from the WM-4815?

Published specifications are the same (Φ6.2 mm, ≤6 m, 65–240 mm winding distance, single twist tie, 1,500 pcs/h theoretical, 800 × 600 × 1,400 mm). This page and the WM-4815 are two builds of that specification, quoted separately — tell us which page you are looking at when you ask for a price.

Does the WM-4815B measure and cut the cord?

No. It winds and ties cord that is already cut to length. If measuring, cutting, figure-8 coiling and tying have to happen in one machine, the WM-4808 does all four for cable OD 3–12 mm and finished lengths of 3–10 m.

How many ties does it apply per coil?

One, at the waist of the figure-8. Two ties at separate points on a round coil is the WM-4800 (up to Ø10 mm, 70–180 mm tie spacing).

What is the largest cord it can wind?

Φ6.2 mm outside diameter, up to 6 m long — same published limit as the WM-4815. Heavier cord up to Φ10 mm belongs on the WM-4811 (figure-8 or round) or the WM-4822 (figure-8 down to 110 mm winding distance).

Is 1,500 pieces per hour guaranteed?

It is the source-listed theoretical yield shared with the WM-4815 sheet. Real output depends on cord length, turns, coil size and feed pace — we time a cycle on your cord during the sample trial.
