The WM-189 processes round sheathed cable from Φ3 to 13 mm with up to 4 cores in a single pass — it cuts to length at ±0.2 mm, strips the outer jacket over a 20–150 mm window, then strips each inner core 3–10 mm at the head and 3–30 mm at the tail. Four imported high-speed-steel blades do the jacket and core work, belt-drive units feed the cable through a roller straightener, and output reaches 650 pieces per hour at 200 mm. Programming is on a 7-inch touchscreen switchable between English and Chinese.

Suited for: round sheathed multi-core cable from Φ3 to 13 mm with up to 4 cores — power cords, appliance pigtails and control cable where the jacket and every core need stripping in one operation. Not suited for: single hookup wire, flat ribbon or unsheathed twisted pairs — for plain hookup wire, pick the WM-167 benchtop cut and strip machine, 0.1–10 mm²; the wire cutting and stripping range keeps dedicated flat-cable and paired-wire models for the rest. Cable with 5 to 8 cores is also outside its range — for those, use the WM-1223 multi-core sheathed cable cutting and stripping machine, which takes 2–8 cores in Φ2–10 mm cable.
