Our WM-1234 cuts, strips and bends 1–16 mm² wire in one machine, reducing the hand forming needed before a lead fits into an assembly. The LCD and keypad provide program controls for repeat work, with stripping from 0.1 to 20 mm and specified bend angles of 30°, 45°, 60° and 90°. Output reaches up to 3,000 pcs/h at a 100 mm cutting length; we check your complete part drawing and wire sample to establish the working rate.

Key features

  • Reduce hand forming after stripping: the bending head adds the required shape to the cut-and-strip process, helping repeat leads arrive at assembly with less manual adjustment.
  • Keep repeat jobs organized with program controls on the LCD and keypad, rather than measuring every piece at the bench.
  • Guide the wire before it reaches the blade: the roller straightener and four feed rollers help control incoming wire position for the cutting and bending sequence.
  • Judge the fit before ordering: we test your wire against the bend drawing and show the stripped ends and formed part on video, including the shape after release.
  • Make setup easier for your operators: we set the voltage for your country and ship the English interface and manual.

What it processes

  • Shaped appliance and lighting leads that repeat the same bend across a production batch
  • Control-panel and electrical assembly wiring in 1–16 mm² requiring cut, stripped and bent ends
  • Harness preparation where operators currently bend each machine-stripped lead by hand

A lead can be the right length and still take time to install if someone has to reshape it at the bench. Our WM-1234 wire cutting, stripping and bending machine brings that forming step into the preparation process. It suits repeated parts where the bend helps the wire reach a defined connection point.

Start with the finished part, not just the conductor size. Two wires with the same nominal area can have different insulation thickness, stiffness and springback. We use your actual wire to check the guide fit, stripping result and released bend. The trial video lets you inspect the conductor and the shape before approving a production setup.

Reel handling also matters. Excessive pull from the incoming reel can disturb feeding, so include reel weight and dimensions with your inquiry. We confirm the feed arrangement along with the tooling rather than treating the wire supply as an afterthought.

Send the wire specification and a dimensioned drawing with the cut length, strip lengths, bend radius and angles. We use these to prepare the sample trial and quote the configuration for your part.

Neither machine quite fits? New configurations reach our application engineers before they reach the catalog. Tell us your material and process; we will confirm what we manufacture and support, then recommend the right configuration. Get a tailored recommendation →

WM-1234 — common questions

How does WM-1234 differ from WM-1224?

Our WM-1224 uses a touchscreen and specifies 0.1–100 mm stripping with 600 W power. WM-1234 uses an LCD and keypad and specifies 0.1–20 mm stripping with 650 W power. Both cover 1–16 mm², so choose from the required stripping length, controls and sample result.

Does the cutting tolerance also specify bending accuracy?

No. The ± (0.001 × L) mm figure applies to cutting length. For bending, we check the released angle, leg lengths and fit against your drawing on the actual wire. Insulation and conductor construction affect springback, so a cut-length figure does not establish the finished bend tolerance.

Can every 16 mm² cable pass through the standard guide?

Conductor area and insulated outside diameter are different measurements. The standard guide is Φ10 mm; other guide diameters are customizable. Send the outside diameter and insulation construction as well as the conductor area so we can confirm guide and tooling fit.

Can it produce a 0.1 mm strip on my wire?

The specified stripping setting range starts at 0.1 mm. The shortest usable strip depends on the insulation, conductor and how the part is held. We check your required end length on a sample and show the exposed conductor before confirming it for production.

Will the finished part match my assembly fixture?

Send the bend angle, bend radius, leg lengths, strip lengths and allowable tolerances, together with the wire sample. We run the part and show its shape after release so you can judge fit. For a special geometry, we confirm the tooling and sequence with your quote.

What is needed for installation and spare parts?

We confirm the electrical configuration and pneumatic connection requirements on the quote. The machine has an air preparation assembly, so include your available compressed-air supply when enquiring. For blades, feed rollers and other wear parts, every quote lists them with unit price and the location they ship from.

What if I need to bend cable above 16 mm²?

Our WM-196 cutting, stripping and bending machine covers 2–35 mm². Send the wire construction and bend drawing so we can check its suitability for the part you need.
