Cut, Strip and Tubular Ferrule Crimping Machine, Chain-Fed, AWG 12–28 WM-3243
The WM-3243 cuts wire to length, strips it, and crimps a pre-insulated tubular ferrule from a chain reel onto one end — 1,500 pieces an hour at lengths up to 300 mm, on AWG 12 to 28 wire, with a strip length settable from 1.5 to 12 mm. It is the single-station answer for panel and appliance leads that today go through a cutter, a stripper and a hand ferrule crimper in three separate operations.

- Strip length is settable from 1.5 mm — the short window that ferrules and pin terminals need and that most cut-and-strip specifications never state
- Chain-fed pre-insulated tubular ferrules; the terminal is indexed off the reel, so no loose-piece bowl and no orientation faults

Suited for: cut, strip and one chain-fed pre-insulated tubular ferrule on AWG 12–28 wire, strip length 1.5–12 mm. Not suited for: loose bag ferrules — WM-3103. Loose open-barrel terminals in a bowl — WM-3242. Cut-and-strip only, no crimp — WM-167.
Send a length of the ferrule chain and 2–3 metres of wire. The 1.5 mm strip is the settable floor; we confirm it on your insulation before you order.

WM-3243 — common questions
I buy ferrules in a bag, not on a reel.
Loose ferrules run on the WM-3103 (0.35–4 mm², no cut-to-length). For servo pressing and larger sections up to 16 mm²: WM-3116.
Will 1.5 mm actually strip on my insulation?
1.5–12 mm is the settable window. Whether 1.5 mm is clean on your wall thickness depends on the blade set, so send the wire and a length of the ferrule chain and we run it on video before you order.
Does it crimp both ends?
No — this machine crimps one end. Tell us on the inquiry if the other end also needs a ferrule and we will point you to the right double-end station.
Which ferrule series does it take?
The crimp tooling is matched to your ferrule series before we quote. Send a length of the chain and 2–3 metres of the wire; we confirm the applicator and return sample crimps.
What is the power draw?
220 V single phase; the motor rating is confirmed on the quote together with the air consumption at 4–6 kgf/cm².
Where do blades and crimp tooling come from?
Blades, guide and the crimp die are the wear parts. Every quote lists them with unit price and the location they ship from.
