The WM-3103 runs loose tubular terminals (bootlace ferrules) poured straight into its vibrating bowl — no strips, no reels — and finishes stripping, ferrule entry and crimping in 2.5 seconds per wire. Its four-sided square crimp covers 0.35–2.5 mm² wire with ferrule tubes under 12 mm, and 4.0 mm² with tubes under 10 mm, all without a die change. The 40 kg bench unit runs on single-phase 220 V and 0.5–0.8 MPa air, with an LCD program that auto-adjusts stripping depth, stripping length and crimp height.

WM-3103 — common questions

What does the four-sided crimp change compared with a normal ferrule press?

The die closes from four sides into a square section, compacting the strands evenly instead of flattening them from two directions. Because the same geometry works across sizes, you never change the die between 0.35 and 4.0 mm² — the program adjusts the crimp height, and changeover time is close to zero.

Are there limits on which ferrules feed reliably?

Two hard numbers — up to 2.5 mm² the ferrule tube (conduit) must be under 12 mm long, and at 4.0 mm² under 10 mm. Beyond that, bowl feeding depends on the collar shape of your ferrule brand, so we always ask for a bag of your actual ferrules and film the feed test before you order.

When should I step up to the WM-3116 instead?

When your wires go beyond 4 mm², when you want strand twisting before entry, or when audits ask for stored servo crimp programs per part number — the WM-3116 covers 0.3–16 mm² with a servo press at about 4 s per piece. For everything at 4 mm² and below, the WM-3103 is the faster and more compact of the two.
