Infrared Heat-Shrink Oven, Clamshell, 260 × 180 mm Zone, 12 Lamps WM-679
The WM-679 is a clamshell infrared oven for heat-shrink: clip a row of harness sections into the tray, close the lid, and twelve 300 W infrared lamps shrink every sleeve in the 260 × 180 mm zone at once, at up to 260 °C. It runs in two modes — hold a set temperature, or time the lamps from a foot switch — and draws 4,000 W on 220 V. It replaces a heat gun in one hand and a harness in the other with a batch that shrinks evenly every time.

WM-679 — common questions
Is this a heat gun on a stand?
No. The gun station is the WM-677. This is a lid and a lamp bank — the operator loads a batch and closes it.
How is this different from the WM-664?
WM-664 is a semicircular chamber on one clamped section — Ø100 mm zone, 130 mm long, eight lamps. This one is a flat clamshell, 260 × 180 mm, twelve lamps, for a row of sections at once.
I need the heater to move over a fixed row and return.
Use the WM-681. It uses the same 260 × 180 mm zone and twelve 300 W lamps, but adds a 350 mm heater stroke and automatic return.
Will it shrink adhesive-lined tubing evenly?
260 °C covers dual-wall sleeves, and the lid heats the whole zone at once. Dwell time on your tube is set on a sample — send the sleeve and a splice and we run it on video before you order.
What are the dimensions and weight?
