Rotary Blade Cable Cutting and Stripping Machine for 6–120 mm² Multi-Core Cable WM-170X
The WM-170X cuts multi-core cable from 6 to 120 mm² and strips both the outer jacket and the insulation of every inner core in one program, using a rotary blade that circles the cable for a clean cut on thick, tough jackets. Twenty-four belt-drive wheels feed cable up to Φ24 mm without embossing, cutting 1 to 999,999.99 mm at ±0.2% (0.002×L). Full stripping reaches 300 mm and half stripping 1,000 mm on the head end, at 800 to 1,000 pieces per hour. A floor-standing 1,400 × 720 × 1,460 mm frame carries a 7-inch touchscreen on a swing arm.

Why a rotary blade instead of V-blades on thick multi-core cable?
A rotary blade orbits the jacket and scores it evenly all the way round, so thick or elastic sheaths come off without flattening the cable or nicking the cores underneath. V-blades close from two sides and struggle to keep depth uniform on large round cable.
Can each inner core get a different strip length?
Yes — the program treats the jacket and the cores as separate layers. Side A strips fully to 300 mm or half-strips to 1,000 mm, side B to 150 mm full and 500 mm half, so staggered terminations for distribution blocks come straight off the machine.
Is it the right machine for thin control wire below 6 mm²?
No — the feed and rotary head are sized for 6–120 mm² cable up to Φ24 mm. For 0.1–30 mm² wire at several thousand pieces per hour, the benchtop cut and strip machines in this category are the economical fit.
