The WM-1225 is a programmable benchtop stripping station for discrete wire and multi-conductor cable from 1 to 10 mm outer diameter. It removes up to 4 layers per cycle at strip lengths of 0 to 60 mm, with both strip length and blade depth set in 0.01 mm steps and up to 100 wire processing programs stored on the machine. A motor and ball-screw drive works two blades against two grippers, and the clamp centres itself automatically under program control so the cable axis stays fixed across the whole diameter range. Cycles are released by pedal, by hand or by rod; 300 W from a 220 V socket, 550 × 170 × 330 mm, 23 kg.

• Shielded signal, sensor and instrumentation cable that has to keep its braid intact through stripping
• Connector and terminal preparation needing stepped strip lengths — a different exposed length per layer on the same end
• Wire-prep cells that pair a cut-to-length machine upstream with a precision stripping station downstream

Suited for: programmed end-stripping of discrete wire and multi-conductor cable from Ø1 to Ø10 mm, up to four layers per cycle, with strip lengths to 60 mm set in 0.01 mm steps — shielded signal cable, sensor and instrumentation leads, and connector ends that need a different exposed length on every layer.

Not suited for: cutting cable to length, or stripping below Ø1 mm. If the job needs measuring, cutting and stripping in one machine on cable of this size, use the WM-1306 automatic cable cutting and stripping machine, φ1–12 mm with 0–100 m cutting length. Single-layer stripping of plain inner cores up to 25 mm² is faster and cheaper on the WM-1216C pneumatic wire stripping machine, 0.5–25 mm² at 1,500–2,000 pieces per hour.
