WM-1216C — common questions

Do I need an air compressor to run the WM-1216C?

Yes. The machine is purely pneumatic and needs 0.4–0.75 MPa (about 60–110 psi) of clean shop air — any small workshop compressor covers this. There is no motor inside, which also means less maintenance.

Really no blade change between 0.5 mm² and 25 mm² wire?

Correct. The universal V-blade closes to a depth you set with the adjustment dial, so changing wire size is a few seconds of dialing instead of a blade swap. This is the main reason shops choose it over blade-cassette strippers.

Does it cut wire to length too?
