Semi-Automatic Paper Tube Cutting Machine, 25–200 mm Diameter WM-613
Our WM-613 recuts paper tubes into rings and shorter cores by rotating the tube while the cutter shaft does not rotate. It covers a specified tube-diameter range of 25–200 mm and wall thickness of 1–18 mm, with an automatic pneumatic chuck and pneumatic knife infeed. One operator loads and unloads the tube by hand; we test your material to confirm cut width, edge finish and production rate.

Key features
- Prepare rings and short cores from paper tubes with 1–18 mm walls. We match the cutting setup to your core diameter, coating and required finished width.
- Reduce manual work at the clamp: the pneumatic chuck grips the tube automatically, while one operator handles loading and unloading.
- Set lengths through the PLC and touchscreen, with a servo motor, lead screw and linear guide positioning the cutting carriage for repeat core orders.
- Check the result on your own material before ordering: send us your paper tube and we return a cutting video, measured samples and the trial rate.
- Prepare the machine for your team: we set the voltage for your country and ship the English interface and manual.
What it processes
- Paper cores cut to width for label and adhesive-tape converting
- Paper tube rings and short sleeves for packaging and assembly
- Repeat paper-core lengths for printing and textile production
Our WM-613 prepares paper cores for the width needed by your next production step. The tube sits on a horizontal shaft and rotates during cutting. A pneumatic knife cuts through the wall, and the operator removes the finished sections by hand. The sample photos show rings and longer sections with coated outer surfaces; the demonstration includes a caliper check after cutting.
For a trial, send the paper construction, inside and outside diameters, wall thickness, tube length, finished widths, tolerance and target batch quantity. We show the cutting process and measured result on your material before confirming the configuration and output. The electrical specification and 1,900 × 800 × 1,300 mm installation dimensions also help you plan the machine’s position in your workshop. To get a WM-613 quote, tell us the material and its approximate width or outside diameter. If you know the target cut length, include it so we can check the setup.

WM-613 — common questions
What paper tube sizes can the WM-613 cut?
The specified tube-diameter range is 25–200 mm, wall thickness is 1–18 mm, tube cutting length is <1,310 mm and minimum cut width is 1 mm. Send both the inside and outside diameter, wall thickness, tube length and required finished widths. We confirm the diameter basis and tooling on the quote.
Does it load and unload the tubes automatically?
We supply this machine for manual loading and unloading by one operator. The chuck clamps pneumatically and the knife infeed is pneumatic. The demonstration shows the tube being cut on the horizontal shaft, followed by hand removal of the cut sections. For a production line with automatic material handling, use our custom machine service.
Is 35 m/min the production speed?
35 m/min is the cutting carriage travel speed. Finished output also depends on tube material, wall thickness, cut width, number of cuts and manual handling. We time a sample run at your required sizes and confirm the production rate on the quote.
Does the 1 mm minimum cut width mean 1 mm accuracy?
The 1 mm value specifies minimum cut width. Finished-length tolerance is confirmed on the quote after we measure cuts in your paper tube. Tell us the allowable variation and any requirements for edge finish or roundness.
Can we see the cut quality before ordering?
Yes. Send us your paper tube, including its coating or lining, and the required cut widths. We record the cutting and unloading, show the cut faces and measure the samples so you can assess the result for your next operation.
Can we use this machine for plastic or metal pipe?
We configure the WM-613 for paper tubes. For rigid PVC, PP or PE pipe from 1–50 mm, see our WM-591 rotary knife pipe cutter. For other materials and larger pipe, send the specification through our custom machine service so we can select and test the cutting process.
What power and air supply does it need?
The electrical specification is 380 V, three-phase, four-wire, with 3 kW total power. Compressed air operates the chuck and knife; required pressure and consumption are confirmed on the quote. We set the voltage for your country and ship the English interface and manual.
Which spare parts come with the machine?
The included accessories are two cutting blades and one tool set. For replacement blades and other wear parts, every quote lists them with unit price and the location they ship from.
