Semi-Automatic Multi-Core Cable Core Wire Stripping and Crimping Machine, 2–14 Cores, AWG 22–30 WM-3232
The WM-3232 terminates the inner cores of multi-core cable that arrives with its jacket already opened. The operator presents the cable end; the machine strips each core 0 to 10 mm and crimps a reel-fed terminal onto it, 2 to 14 cores per cable, on inner core wire from AWG 22 to AWG 30. The jacket opening can be as short as 20 mm. Rated output is 1,000 to 1,300 pieces per hour from a 2-tonne press with a 30 mm stroke, with terminal-presence, wire-presence and fault alarm detection built in and crimp force monitoring available as an option. It runs on AC 220 V at 0.8 kW plus 0.5 to 0.7 MPa of shop air, and stands 1,500 × 600 × 1,450 mm at 160 kg.

Suited for: multi-core cable that arrives with its jacket already opened, where 2 to 14 fine cores (AWG 22–30) each need a 0–10 mm strip and a reel-fed terminal, at 1,000–1,300 pieces per hour with terminal and wire presence detection watching every cycle.
Not suited for: benches with no compressed air. This machine is pneumatic and will not run without 0.5–0.7 MPa of shop air, and at 160 kg over 1,500 mm it wants a dedicated station. Two numbers on this machine’s data sheet are worth more than the headline throughput. The first is the 20 mm minimum jacket opening. Dense multi-core ends are usually terminated by hand not because the crimping is hard but because there is nowhere to hold the cable — most bench machines want 40 mm or more of free core before they can grip and index, and a connector that sits close to the breakout simply does not give it. The second is the 0 to 10 mm strip range, which is what lets one machine serve both a short-barrel signal terminal and a long-barrel power terminal without a tooling argument.
The rest is repeatability. Fourteen cores means fourteen chances per cable to strip short, nick a strand or crimp at the wrong height, and by the end of a shift a hand-built cable end reflects the operator more than the drawing. Here the strip length, the traverse between cores and the crimp position are stored recipe values, and the presence detectors stop the cycle instead of passing a defect down the line — with crimp force monitoring available when your customer wants the evidence and not just the assurance.

WM-3232 — common questions
Does the WM-3232 strip the outer jacket?
No. The cable reaches the machine with the jacket already opened and the cores exposed; the machine then strips and crimps those cores. What it does define is how little opening it needs — 20 mm at the shortest, which is where it separates itself from most bench machines in this class. How many cores, and how fine can they be?
Two to fourteen cores per cable, on inner core wire from AWG 22 down to AWG 30. The manufacturer notes that the exact core count depends on the actual cable construction, because lay, jacket stiffness and core diameter all decide how cleanly the cores can be separated and presented. Send us your cable and we confirm it on the machine rather than from the data sheet.
What is the real output on my cable?
The rating is 1,000 to 1,300 pieces per hour. Read that against your own core count — a 14-core cable is fourteen strip-and-crimp cycles per piece against four for a 4-core, and the operator's loading rhythm sets the rest. We give you a figure from your own sample run, not from the headline number.
What does the detection package actually catch?
As standard the machine watches for terminal presence, wire presence and fault conditions, and alarms rather than continuing. Crimp force monitoring (CFM) and air pressure inspection are optional additions. CFM is the one worth specifying if your customer audits crimp quality, because it flags a crimp that looks right but was formed on a missing strand or the wrong terminal.
What utilities does it need?
One AC 220 V supply drawing 0.8 kW and clean dry compressed air at 0.5 to 0.7 MPa. The air requirement is not optional — the machine is pneumatically actuated.
