Servo Wire Stripping and Crimping Machine for European Style Applicators WM-395
The WM-395 strips and crimps thin-gauge wire from AWG 32 to AWG 20 in a single operator-fed cycle, with stripping lengths of 1.0–6.0 mm held to a 0.05–0.1 mm position tolerance. Its 2-ton, 30 mm-stroke servo press mounts standard European style applicators — JAM, TE, AMP and Yazaki types — for reel-fed open-barrel and horizontal terminals, and PLC control lets every motion be adjusted independently.

Key features
- Strip and crimp in one cycle — the operator presents the wire, the machine strips 1–6 mm of insulation and crimps the terminal in the same station
- Mounts standard European style applicators (JAM, TE, AMP, Yazaki types), so tooling you already own for a 30 mm-stroke, 2 T press can carry over
- Servo-driven press with PLC control — stripping, clamping and crimping motions are adjusted independently from the panel, which shortens changeovers
- Modular layout with separate stripping, clamping and crimping sections keeps blade and applicator maintenance simple
- Handles fragile thin-gauge insulation (AWG 32–20) with 0.05–0.1 mm cutting and positioning tolerance
- Free sample test — send your wire and terminals, we set up the machine, run them and send you the video before you order
What it processes
- Thin-gauge hookup and signal wire, AWG 32–20 (AV, AVS, AVSS, CAVUS, KV, KIV, UL, IV, Teflon-insulated and fiber wire)
- Connector pigtails and small-signal harnesses for consumer electronics and appliances
- Automotive interior and instrument harnesses using reel-fed open-barrel terminals
- Crimping shops that already run European style applicators and want stripping folded into the same cycle
Suited for: stripping and crimping thin-gauge wire from AWG 32 to AWG 20 with reel-fed open-barrel or horizontal terminals on European style applicators (JAM, TE, AMP, Yazaki types), where strip length sits between 1 and 6 mm. Not suited for: large cross-section cables or lugs — for lugs up to 120 mm², use the WM-3135T 35-ton servo cable lug crimping machine; nor for unattended cut-strip-crimp production — for that, pick the WM-3202 fully automatic double-end crimping machine covering AWG 18–28 at 3,800+ pcs/h.
The stripping, clamping and crimping sections are separate modules on one base, so a tooling change or blade swap does not mean tearing down the whole station. If your terminals or wire are unusual, send a sample reel and 2–3 meters of wire — we run them on the actual machine and send you the trial video before you commit.

WM-395 — common questions
Which applicators fit the WM-395?
The press accepts standard European style applicators — JAM, TE, AMP, Yazaki and compatible types — with a 30 mm stroke and 2 T crimping force, running reel-fed open continuous terminals or horizontal terminals. If you tell us your terminal part number, we confirm applicator fit before shipment.
Is the WM-395 fully automatic?
It is semi-automatic. The operator inserts a pre-cut wire end and the machine strips and crimps it in one cycle; wire cutting to length is not included. If you need an unattended line that cuts, strips and crimps both wire ends, the WM-3202 fully automatic double-end crimping machine is the right platform.
What wire sizes can it process?
AWG 32 to AWG 20, depending on the wire construction, with stripping lengths from 1.0 to 6.0 mm. Larger cross-sections and cable lugs need a heavier press — see the WM-3135T for lugs up to 120 mm², or send us your wire spec and we will recommend the right machine.
What utilities does it need?
Single-phase 200–240 V, 50/60 Hz mains and a 0.5–0.6 MPa supply of dry, clean compressed air. At 100 kg and a 730 × 350 mm footprint it sits on a standard workbench-height stand.
