The WM-578 swages metal fittings onto flexible hose the hydraulic way — two crimping heads on one 15 MPa power unit close segmented dies around ferrules, thin-walled metal hoses and pipe joints from 1 to 33 mm, at up to 4,000 crimps per hour. A 4.0 kW pump station with pressure gauge, oil-level sight glass and fan-cooled circuit keeps the oil temperature stable through full shifts, and die sets are interchangeable per fitting size, with custom dies made to your crimp profile.

Suited for: swaging metal fittings onto flexible hose — oil, brake, fuel, A/C and water lines with ferrules and joints from 1 to 33 mm — and riveting or shrinking the ends of thin-walled metal pipe. Not suited for: cutting tube or hose to length — that job belongs to the WM-183 metal tube cutting machine (Φ1–30 mm copper, aluminum, stainless and armored pipe). Nor for crimping electrical cable lugs onto wire — copper lugs up to 120 mm² are pressed on the WM-3135T 35-ton cable lug crimping machine. Other tube jobs — corrugated conduit, heat-shrink, braided sleeve — run on the rest of the tube and pipe cutting machines.

What fitting sizes does the WM-578 crimp?
The dies cover fittings and thin-walled metal hose from 1 to 33 mm diameter. Each die set matches a fitting size range, and with two crimping heads you can keep two sizes mounted at once. For a fitting outside the standard sets, dies can be custom-machined to your crimp profile — send us the fitting drawing or a physical sample.
How do I verify the crimp quality before buying?
Send us a batch of your hoses and fittings — we crimp them on the actual machine, video the run, and ship the crimped samples back so you can pull-test and pressure-test them in your own lab before you commit to the order.
Does it cut the hose too?
