The WM-172 cuts large flexible cable from 6 to 150 mm² to length and strips up to three layers — outer jacket, shield and core insulation — each to its own programmed depth. It accepts cable up to Φ28 mm, strips 500 mm at the head and 250 mm at the tail, and cuts from 60 mm up to 100 m, producing 1,500–2,000 pieces per hour depending on length. Twin belt drives feed the cable, 100 programs live on the 7-inch touchscreen PLC, and the 270 kg floor-standing frame measures 1,180 × 650 × 1,200 mm.
