Automatic Enameled Wire Cutting and Paint Stripping Machine for 0.7–3.0 mm Magnet Wire WM-184
The WM-184 cuts enameled (magnet) wire of 0.7–3.0 mm diameter to length and scrapes the enamel coating off both ends mechanically — three rotary tungsten-steel knives remove the paint around the full 360° of the wire, no chemicals or abrasive wheels. Cutting lengths run from 0.01 mm up to 10 m, throughput reaches 2,400 pcs/hour (100 mm pieces, 50 mm strip each end), and the whole machine is a 21 kg benchtop unit.

How does the WM-184 remove the enamel coating?
Mechanically. Three round tungsten-steel knives rotate around the wire and scrape the coating off along the programmed strip length, working the full 360° of the circumference. There are no chemicals to handle and no abrasive dust — the machine feeds, cuts and scrapes in one automatic cycle, and the blades can be reground when they wear.
What throughput should I actually expect?
The rated 2,400 pcs/hour applies to short pieces (100 mm length, 50 mm strip per end). Longer parts run slower because feeding time dominates: for 1.0 mm wire at 430 mm length with 35 mm strip per end, the machine runs 840–1,500 pcs/hour depending on the speed setting; for 1.2 mm wire at 390 mm length, 900–1,560 pcs/hour. My magnet wire is thinner than 0.7 mm — can this machine handle it?
