The WM-570S cuts expandable braided sleeve, foam tube and similar soft tubing to length with a heated blade, so every cut end comes out sealed instead of frayed or crumbled. It accepts material up to 95 mm wide and 15 mm thick, cuts any programmed length from 1 to 100,000 mm and runs at up to 150 pieces per minute. The hot knife works at up to 350 °C while the whole machine draws only 900 W on a 110/220 VAC, 50/60 Hz supply. The benchtop body measures 43 × 33 × 48 cm and weighs 30 kg.

Why a hot knife instead of a cold blade?

Braided sleeve unravels and foam tears or crumbles when cut cold. The blade here runs at up to 350 °C and fuses the material as it passes, so braided ends stay locked and foam faces come out clean. If your material actually cuts fine cold, tell us — we will say so honestly after running your sample.

How do I set up a batch?

Length, piece count and speed are entered on the keypad and shown in English on the display — the unit photographed here is set to a 30.0 mm cut length as an example. Any length from 1 to 100,000 mm can be programmed, and the counter stops the machine when the batch is complete.

What can it not cut?

It is for soft synthetic tube and sleeve only — no wire, no cable, no metal and no rigid plastic pipe. Cutting conductors to length belongs with the wire cutting and stripping machines, and material beyond 95 mm width or 15 mm thickness needs a larger frame — ask us with your dimensions.
