Automatic Hot Cutting Machine for Braided Sleeve and Webbing, 1–100 mm Width WM-568
The WM-568 cuts braided cable sleeve, webbing and flat synthetic tape with a heated blade, fusing the cut faces so every piece leaves the machine with sealed, fray-free ends. It handles material from 1 to 100 mm wide, cuts programmed lengths from 0.1 to 9,999.9 mm and runs up to 7,200 cuts per hour depending on length. Blade temperature is held by a digital controller, and total and bundle counters on the English panel manage bagged-quantity production. The benchtop unit measures 415 × 380 × 410 mm, weighs 40 kg and runs on 220 V, 50 Hz.

Key features
- The heated blade fuses PET and nylon braid at the moment of the cut — sleeve pieces arrive at assembly with sealed ends, no fraying and no flame-tipping station
- Takes material up to 100 mm wide, so expandable sleeve laid flat, harness webbing and hook-and-loop tape all run on the same bench
- Up to 7,200 cuts per hour with programmed length from 0.1 to 9,999.9 mm — batch changeover is a number entry, not a jig change
- Set-total and set-bundle counters stop the machine at bag quantity, so one operator tends several benches while pieces count themselves
What it processes
- Expandable braided sleeving cut to length with sealed ends for wire harness over-braiding
- Nylon and polyester webbing, strap and flat tape cutting for bags, safety and sporting goods
- Hook-and-loop tape and elastic band piece-cutting for assembly kitting
Suited for: synthetic braided sleeve, webbing and flat tape from 1 to 100 mm wide that must ship with fused, fray-free ends — harness over-braiding, straps, hook-and-loop and elastic piece work. Not suited for: heat shrink tube and sleeving where a melted edge is a defect — for those, pick the WM-565N heat shrink tube cutting machine, the cold-blade counterpart to this hot-cut station — nor any wire or cable cutting.
Braids and coatings behave differently under a hot blade, so we prove it first: send 2–3 meters of your actual sleeve or webbing and we cut it on this machine on video — sealed ends on camera — before you commit.

WM-568 — common questions
Which materials come off with sealed ends?
Synthetics that melt — PET expandable braid, nylon and polyester webbing, polypropylene tape. The blade fuses the weave across the full cut face on both the piece and the remaining roll. Cotton and other natural fibers do not fuse, so they are outside the intended range.
How does it manage bagged quantities?
The panel takes a set total and a set bundle count — the machine pauses at every bundle quantity for the operator to band or bag the stack, then stops for good at the set total. The display tracks finished pieces and remaining count throughout the shift.
What is the WM-568 not meant to cut?
Heat shrink tube and rigid sleeving that must keep a round, dimensionally clean bore — melting the edge is a defect there, and those jobs belong on the cold-blade cutters in the tube and pipe cutting category. Wire and cable are also out of range in this machine.
