WM-378 — common questions

What happens to the end that is not crimped?

It is stripped 1.5–10 mm and the bare strands are twisted tight in the same cycle. The lead drops out with one terminated end and one compact twisted tail that goes straight into a solder pot or screw terminal without hand prep.

Which wires and terminals does it accept?

Single-conductor wire from AWG 14 to AWG 28 (below 4 mm²) fed from a reel, and side-feed chain terminals crimped under a 2-ton press. Cut length is programmable from 45 to 9,999 mm on the touchscreen, with longer specials available on request.

Can it crimp terminals on both ends of the wire?
