Automatic 2-Pin Round Plug Crimping Machine for Power Cord Plug Inserts WM-380C
The WM-380C is a complete single-end line for two-pin round plug inserts — the pin bridges that are later overmolded into finished plugs. From coiled cord it strips the outer jacket, opens and strips the twin cores, crimps both round pins at 4 tons of force and seats them in the rubber shell, with specified output of 900–1,100 finished inserts per hour and listed yield of 99% or better, subject to validation on the actual parts. Tail stripping is programmable from 20 to 500 mm. The line runs on AC 220/380 V, draws 4.5 kW and occupies a 3.1 × 5 m footprint at 2,000 kg.

Key features
- Cord pay-off to finished plug insert in one line — jacket stripping, core stripping, 4-ton pin crimping and rubber shell assembly run as one automatic cycle
- 900 to 1,100 inserts per hour and a listed yield of 99% or better; confirm accepted output and yield using your cord, pins and shells
- Programmable tail stripping from 20 to 500 mm covers lamp, appliance and power-tool cord designs without mechanical changeover
- Touchscreen control with a full English interface shows line, stamping and production counters plus plain-text alarms
What it processes
- Two-pin round-pin plug inserts for EU-style power cords ahead of injection overmolding
- Power cord factories building lamp, small-appliance and power-tool cordsets at volume
- Cordset plants replacing bench presses and manual shell assembly with one automatic line
Suited for: power cord plants producing two-pin round plug inserts at volume — the line takes cord from the pay-off and returns crimped, shell-assembled inserts ready for overmolding, with listed output of 900–1,100 pieces per hour and yield of 99% or better; validate both on the actual parts. Not suited for: flat-pin or three-pin plug formats — for those, tell us your spec through custom equipment so we can assess the tooling and process — or crimping discrete wire leads; for that, pick the WM-3202 double-end crimping machine, the dedicated loose-lead crimper at 3,800+ pieces per hour.
Plug formats differ by market, so acceptance happens on your parts: send a reel of your cord together with your pins and rubber shells, and we run the full strip, crimp and shell-assembly cycle on this machine on video before you commit.

WM-380C — common questions
What exactly does the machine produce?
A finished single-end plug insert. Cord feeds in from the pay-off stand, the machine strips the jacket and both cores, crimps the two round pins at 4 tons and seats them in the rubber shell bridge. The insert then goes to your injection molder for overmolding into the finished plug.
How much floor space and power does the line need?
Plan a 3.1 × 5 meter area for the full line including pay-off and take-away conveyor, and floor able to carry 2,000 kg. It runs on AC 220 V or 380 V at 50 Hz, draws 4.5 kW and needs 0.5–0.8 MPa of clean compressed air.
What is the WM-380C not designed for?
It builds two-pin round plug inserts only — flat-pin and three-pin plug formats need different tooling, and discrete wire leads are a different machine class. For stripping and crimping individual wires, see the terminal crimping machines category.
