The WM-392 crimps terminals on both ends of five wires at once. Six sets of servo motors and drives run the feed, cutting, stripping and twin crimping presses, turning out about 5,000 finished double-ended leads per hour from AWG 18 – 32 wire. Cutting length spans 80 to 1,000 mm and stripping 0 to 6 mm at front and rear ends — both customizable beyond the standard range. A five-wire straightener bank and comb clamps keep all five strands tracking together, and programming happens on an English-language touchscreen.

Key features

  • Five wires per cycle means one operator loading feeds five double-ended leads — piece cost drops without touching cycle time
  • Both terminals go on in the same pass, so leads leave finished instead of queuing for a second crimping machine
  • Six servo axes hold cut length and strip depth repeatable across all five strands, batch after batch
  • English-language touchscreen puts peel lengths, cut length and batch counters one screen deep for fast changeovers

What it processes

  • High-volume jumper and lead sets for appliance and interior harnesses, AWG 18 – 32
  • LED, sensor and small-connector leads where both ends take crimped terminals
  • Harness plants feeding downstream housing-insertion stations with pre-crimped five-wire batches

Suited for: volume production of double-end crimped leads from AWG 18–32 wire — five strands run in parallel for roughly 5,000 finished pieces per hour. Not suited for: wire heavier than AWG 18 — for that, pick the WM-382 servo dual-end crimping machine, which crimps AWG 14–28 leads double-ended on the same servo principle. And if your leads must leave with connector housings already loaded, the WM-376 double-end crimping and housing insertion machine covers AWG 32–16 with housing feed built in.

Terminal and wire pairings are exactly what we verify before you pay: send 2–3 meters of your wire plus a strip of your terminals, and we run them on this machine on video — crimp cross-section checks included on request.

WM-392 — common questions

What does the "1 out of 5" capacity figure mean?

The machine processes five wires simultaneously through every station — feed, cut, strip and both crimping presses — so each machine cycle yields five finished pieces, adding up to about 5,000 pcs/h.

My wire or lead length falls outside the standard window — is that final?

No. Both the AWG 18 – 32 wire range and the 80 – 1,000 mm cutting length are listed as customizable beyond the range. Tell us your wire gauge and target length and we confirm the configuration before you order.

What can it not do?

It crimps bare terminals only — no connector-housing insertion, no tinning — and the standard build stops at AWG 18 on the heavy end. For those jobs, look across our terminal crimping machine range.
