Fully Automatic Double-End Terminal Crimping Machine with Optional Waterproof Seal Stations WM-390
The WM-390 cuts, strips and crimps terminals on both wire ends fully automatically, covering 0.3–6.0 mm² wire with 4-ton crimping units — a heavier class than typical double-end crimpers. Cutting lengths run from 60 to 10,000 mm at under 1‰ total length error, and optional seal stations fit a rubber waterproof seal on each end before the crimp. Built-in crimp force monitoring records actual length, crimp height, crimp force and pass count for every piece, and the MES-ready controller imports worksheet data and prints a process ticket per batch.

Key features
- Optional seal insertion stations thread a rubber waterproof seal onto each stripped end before crimping — add them at order time or retrofit when your harness mix turns waterproof
- 4-ton crimping units and a 0.3–6.0 mm² wire range take power leads that lighter AWG-class double-end crimpers cannot close
- Built-in encoder and crimp force monitoring with fault alarm — every cycle is measured, and tracking feed moves wire without indentation marks
- MES-ready control system imports worksheet data, accepts scheduling from your MES and supports remote upgrade; production records per piece cover actual length, crimp height, crimp force and qualified quantity
- Modular ball-screw and rotary-reducer construction — no mechanical parts need replacement over the machine's service life except wear parts
- Process ticket printer is standard; an optional inline inkjet changes printed characters on the fly within 50 mm of wire, and an optional two-layer take-up handles leads up to 10 m and discharges rejects automatically
What it processes
- Waterproof automotive, motorcycle and outdoor-equipment harnesses with single-wire seals under both crimps
- Power and control leads from 0.3 to 6.0 mm² double-end crimped at volume for appliances, cabinets and energy products
- Long jumper leads up to 10 meters using the optional two-layer take-up with automatic reject discharge
Suited for: double-end crimped leads in 0.3–6.0 mm² wire — including waterproof harnesses once the optional seal stations are fitted — and plants that need per-piece crimp force records for MES traceability. Not suited for: cable cross-sections above 6.0 mm² — battery and lug work belongs on the WM-3135T 35-ton cable lug crimping machine pressing terminals up to 120 mm² — or two wires seal-inserted and crimped into one terminal, which is the job of the WM-3140FS double wire seal insertion and crimping machine covering 0.2–2.5 mm² pairs. Crimp and seal tooling is matched to your parts, so acceptance happens on your parts: send 2–3 meters of your wire together with your terminal reels (and seals, if you take the seal stations), and we run the full cycle on this machine on video before you order.

WM-390 — common questions
Are the waterproof seal stations included in the base machine?
The base WM-390 is a fully automatic double-end crimping machine; the seal insertion stations are optional working stations fitted for one or both ends. Seal tooling is matched to your exact seal dimensions, so send seal samples with your inquiry and we confirm the setup before quoting.
What production records does the machine keep?
Every piece is logged with its actual cut length, crimp height, crimp force and pass/fail result, and the standard ticket printer puts a process sheet on each batch. The controller can import worksheet data, take scheduling from an MES system and be upgraded remotely — useful when your customer audits traceability.
How accurate is the cut length on long leads?
Length is measured by a built-in encoder, holding total length error under 1‰ across the whole 60 mm to 10,000 mm range — 10 mm on a 10-meter lead. For leads at the long end of the range, the optional two-layer take-up coils the finished wire and separates rejected pieces automatically.
